We greatly enjoyed our stay in Duplex Albert with outstanding views and easy access to central Namur

The location very close to the heart of Namur was excellent. We could go out to dinner and see the local sights on foot. Namur is a beautiful old university city and the duplex apartment has excellent skyline views of the citadel and riverside properties. It is also quiet and secure so a stay is really relaxing. Being at the top of the apartment building makes the property quite hot when the sun shines but the air conditioning on both floors mean that it is comfortable at night.

We found that the property, although generally well-furnished and fitted out was a bit short of crockery and glasses and for some reason there was no bread knife. These things are not costly to remedy and would give visitors the feeling of every wish having been anticipated. We stayed a week and given Belgian supermarkets' tendency to over-package generated a fair amount of waster. The apartment waste bins were rather small to accommodate this and we felt slightly bad at having to leave our waste to be cleared up after us.

Lovely apartment and location

Excellent facilities, quiet building and location. Great view of the castle. Good communication with the owner.

Owner's message with directions had no address and the link to photos was broken. We arrived in the dark and found the parking space fine. But had no idea where the duplex was. Owner directed us by phone, which was ok but I'm not sure what we would have done if she hadn't picked up! The parking space is used as a dog toilet. Not a lot the owner can do, as the space is 30 meters from the duplex. A customer will tread on dog poo soon. It's everywhere. Was unable to use the smart TV for regular television. No instructions. Owner pointed us to using HDMI but this seemed only to provide football matches.

Stylish and convenient

Fabulous interior design, everything thought about, very comfortable. Great view across the river to the fortress. Convenient parking and just a short walk across the bridge to town. Excellent bakery nearby.

The lock box for the key was not working. It took us forever to get it to release the key and we could never get it closed again. Good contact with owners though and things were resolved.

Superb

Le duplex d'Albert is a little apartment in Namur, very near to the city centre and with a private parking. This apartment is an attic with two floors, kitchen and dining room at first level and bedroom and bathroom at the second level. The apartment is very nice and confortable, with air conditioning and all that you need in the kitchen.There is also a balcony with a fantastic view on the Namur citadel. So this place is perfect to visit Namur or other little cities in Wallonie.

Spacious, comfortable accommodation with good indoor temperature for the cold outside weather. Great smart tv. The hostess, Vicky, was extremely helpful and always responded promptly.

It would be useful (and safer) to have a handrail on the stairs to the upper bedroom floor. One of the tv remotes is not as shown in the manual and proved difficult and temperamental when trying to watch live tv on the smart tv. Wouldn't have been a problem but for the World Cup football!!!

Stunning!

The location is great. Close to the centre and the view of the citadel is amazing, especially at night! Vicky was very friendly and helpful. But, most importantly: the appartment is absolutely beautiful. Very modern and stylish, and it includes all appliances you could ask for. We had a great time and were sad to leave this beautiful place behind.

Super Appartement in einer schönen Stadt

Die Lage zum Zentrum und besonders der Ausblick vom Balkon auf die Zitadelle. Komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Der Parkplatz ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt und die Anreisebeschreibung war sehr ausführlich, Check in kein Problem.

Die Treppe zum Schlafzimmer hatte wenig Licht. Besonders beim Runtergehen musste man gut aufpassen. Um die Spülmaschine auszunutzen wäre etwas mehr Geschirr gut.

Prachtig appartement voor weekendje Namen

Prachtig ingericht appartement met een geweldig zicht op de citadel (zonnig terras). Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een weekendje Namen. Alles is voorzien en het appartement was netjes in orde. Zeer comfortabel, wij komen met plezier terug!

Een kleinigheid: de poetshulp was al om 10u30 daar, terwijl uitchecken tot 11u kon. Ze heeft even beneden gewacht en was vriendelijk.

Wat een locatie. Mooi uitzicht op de citadel. Prachtig ingericht, alles aanwezig voor een perfect verblijf. Geen last van het geluid van verkeer of andere geluiden. Super goed ontbijt. Heel goed contact met de host. Parkeerplaats was een pluspunt.
