I found my stay aboard the Peniche d'hotes MS Elisabeth very pleasurable and would decidedly repeat.

Everything about the accommodation aboard the Peniche d'hotes MS Elisabeth, Namur, was perfect. Host and hostess couldn't have been more accommodating or delightful. I enjoyed my stay immensely.

MS Elisabeth was good for an overnight stay

The location was lovely - on the river and close to centre of Namur. Our cabin was lovely and comfortable enough.

Information provided in the cabins could have been up to date - wifi code etc.

The location of the boat was great, the owners were also great. The room could be better

The owners of the boat were super friendly and helpful.

We had a problem in our room: the carpet was soaking wet in half of the room and it gave off a bad smell.

A wonderful night on the water

We arrived quite late but received clear guidance from the owners regarding where to park and how to access the boat. The only temporary (few minute) hitch resulted from stupidity on our part regarding how the door onto the boat works (it slides) We were the only ones staying on the boat so we had the deck to ourselves and spent an hour and a half relaxing and sipping wine (that we brought) while enjoying the night. We had the room with the double bed and it was extremely comfortable. I had to get up early to do a few hours of work and appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room (not so uncommon these days, but still a nice touch). I was able to sit out on the comfortable deck and work while watching the sun come up. The breakfast was excellent. My wife and I were very sorry that we were only spending one night. We definitely plan to come back.

Fabulous accommodation!!

Exceptional accommodation and we were lucky enough to have the whole boat to ourselves. The host Bernard was incredibly helpful and such a lovely man and loved the touch of a small carafe of Port in the room. I cannot rate this beautiful boat highly enough. In a great location, close to The Citadel and was very quiet in the evening, approx 20 mins walk from the train station. Do not miss the chance to stay here if staying in Namur.

Once found it was great

Very convenient for exploring. Lovely boat, comfy cabins

Directions. The access to the boat doesn't tally with Sat Nav directions, and the picture makes you look for a part of the river with a park or at least greenery at the mooring, Not so. A paved road below the main road. This is fine, easy to park and quiet enough but after 8 hours driving to be told you're here by the sat nav when there is nothing resembling the photo in sight does nothing to reduce stress levels. 20 minutes driving around in circles finally finds the boat...change the photo! Its in a great location. Its lovely.

Fabulous night on a well equipped boat in a beautiful location made special by the lovely staff welcome.

Stunning location. Staff were delightful and made us feel welcome and special. Having a bedroom below the water level with a window was an entertaining feature. Room very comfortable and had AC. Shower good, and plenty of convenient sockets. Parking available right next to the boat. Delicious breakfast of bread, pastries, yogurt, cheese etc. My husband was offered fried eggs, which made his day. Drinks on deck before and after dinner.

It was a little unclear what permission we had to access drinks after the staff had left but we took the initiative and found beer, and sorted payment the following morning.

Must be the cosiest place with the nicests hosts in Namur

No better way of getting to know Namur than staying on a river boat right in the middle of town. And you will never meet nicer hosts than Martine & Bernard. Upon arrival they invite you to have a glass of wine on deck with them and guests already staying there. Instantly makes you feel right at home. And should you by any chance be a foodie and want to explore the gastronomy of the area, they know all there is to know and will guide you perfectly. And Namur has a lot to offer in terms of great restaurants and bars - a lot.

Geen ontbijt genoten daar we met familie zijn gaan brunchen in villa Balat. Originele overnachtig en leuk opstaan met opkomende zon op het water.

De badkamer onder de trap is misschien wel toe aan een opfrisbeurt. Voor de rest vond ik het prima, zelfs tijdens het frissere najaarsweer.l

Un hébergement "différent" dans un lieu très spécial

Un lieu de séjour exceptionnel. Le MS Elisabeth est amarré juste à l'extérieur du centre-ville, sur le quai, à deux minutes à pied du parking Confluence. Les cabines sont petites, les lits étroits mais très confortables. Notre hôte, Cédryc, nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux et nous a offert chaque matin un copieux petit-déjeuner composé de baguettes fraîches, de croissants, de yaourts aux fruits, de garnitures, de café, de thé et de jus de fruits. Un œuf au plat ou à la coque était également proposé. Le salon commun et surtout le pont arrière, avec sa vue magnifique, sont des endroits parfaits pour prendre un verre. Mon fils et moi avons passé un merveilleux séjour.

Il fait très chaud sur le bateau et dans la cabine. Heureusement, on peut ouvrir les fenêtres. La salle de bain est très humide à cause de la condensation quand on prend une douche.
