Villa Perivoli in Lemon Orchard

The villa was absolutely immaculate, from the bedrooms and kitchen to the pool. It felt incredibly peaceful and tranquil, surrounded by lemon groves with fresh vegetables growing in the garden. Everything was beautifully and tastefully decorated, and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the space. We’re usually a family who likes to spend our days out exploring beaches, but we actually ended up spending much more time than expected by the pool and reading because it was so inviting. The beaches were quite choppy while we were there due to the wind, so it was lovely having such a beautiful place to relax instead. I would definitely recommend hiring a 4x4 if you want to explore some of the more remote beaches around the island. The villa was incredibly comfortable for our group of 8 adults — 3 couples and 2 singles. Having a good balance of private and communal space was really important for us, and the villa worked perfectly for this. It’s just a 5-minute drive into Chora, or around a 35-minute walk down a track. Chora is a lovely, bustling town with lots of restaurants and shops. Our favourite restaurant was Fofos — we loved it so much we ended up going twice! It’s only about a 5-minute walk from the villa. There’s also a fantastic bakery just a very short drive away near the local petrol station, which became our go-to for breakfast every morning. We really couldn’t recommend staying here enough. A beautiful villa, fantastic location and the perfect place for a relaxing family holiday. We’d love to come back!

A beautifully restored traditional house in a lovely garden full of orange and lemon trees. The large and very-well planned space was perfect for a family of five adults, and the house is very well equipped with everything you could need. The pool is beautiful too, and tempted us in for some quick swims, even though mid-April is little early for swimming. Our host Natalia was very helpful and responsive and was there to greet us when we arrived. The location, in a rural area about 30-40 minutes from the centre of the beautiful little town of Andros Chora, was just what we were looking for. Hope to be able to stay there again some day!
