Spacious 2 Bedroom 2 Bath corner unit faces east on the 8th floor of Edgewater Beach Condo complex that provides you with everything you need for a stress-free getaway! The property has plenty of parking in and outside the garage and is gated. The unit has a well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops, up to date appliances, plenty of cookware and dishware for a meal cooked at your home away from home! Kitchen includes a keurig and regular drip coffee maker, toaster, and blender. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, and access to the balcony. Watch the sunrise from bed! The second bedroom has a queen bed and attached guest bathroom. Large living room has a dining table big enough for everyone, living room with sofa sleeper and another breathtaking view of the water!
Edgewater is in one of the best locations for a walkable or Uber friendly vacation! You can walk to the Silver Sands
Outlet Mall, Winn Dixie, Chick fil A, Starbucks, Surf Hut Beachside Restuarant, Outcast Seafood, and many other places for shopping, dining, and fun, also within walking distance to the Surf Hut Beachside restaurant, Winn-Dixie, and Starbucks! If you are driving, you're only minutes from 30A and Destin.
If staying around the property and relaxing is more your vibe, there is plenty to do there as well! Spend the day on the white beaches looking at and listening to the clearest blue waves. You can rent chairs and an umbrella directly from the on-site Beach Service vendor from March to October at the daily or weekly rate. There is an incredible gulf side pool with a waterfall that is heated during the cooler months (per the discretion of the HOA). Edgewater also offers a heated adult whirlpool spa. Edgewater also provides a shuffleboard court, basketball court, and children's playground. Get in a workout at the gym on the property before you start your daily adventures!

The location of this condo is what prompted us to make this reservation. We have spent much time in the Destin area and particularly like the Scenic 98 location. This facility has always been intriguing with its design and we had heard that it was top notch. This particular condo though was sub par at best. The condo is decorated poorly and the furniture, particularly the couch and love seat, were worn and very very uncomfortable. The internet condition was pathetic. It was slow when it was working but mostly we had to reset the modem many times a day. The most disappointing feature for this stay was the work being done on the unit above this one and the constant, day in-day out noise which went from jackhammering so loud we couldn't even talk to each other, hammering that prevented any quiet time to read, sawing, to water dripping down from above into our master bath which required workers in and out looking at it, etc. etc. When we complained of all of the noise and the lack of quiet enjoyment, it was explained to us that the HOA allowed work on the condos between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and there wasn't anything that could be done. But.... the construction started many mornings by 7:30 and lasted a lot of days until 10:00 p.m. All in all, this was a most disappointing stay in Destin. We certainly won't be back to this condo. This was one time that the money spent was not justified.

We have been going to Edgewater for several years and always enjoy the location and beach. With that being said, I do realize that these are rental units and that some things just will have wear and tear. However felt the second bedroom photo on line was misleading as was very tiny room and tiny beds. We were highly disappointed about the glass sliding door in the living room to go to balcony was broke. We did inquire about this during our stay through the mobile app on the dashboard and did not receive a response. I have noted in reviews that this seems to been broke since April. We had several light bulbs that were out as well.The pools,the beach, the location are all great, the room itself was little disappointing overall for the amount of money.
