House Troha - Rooms & Apartments

The property was very clean, comfortable and inviting. We had a great view of the mountains from the balcony. The room had a very comfortable bed and all the facilities required for an enjoyable stay. The shower was perfect with instant hot water and good pressure, much needed after some hiking. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. The breakfast itself is a mixture of fresh pastries, fruit, yoghurt. Eggs are also available and made to order, the omelettes are a good option. The hotel is just under 2 miles from lake Bled. We had no access to a car, however it’s a manageable walk. There is also a bus stop just up the road in Zasip, with buses running every hour into Bled. In the Town of Zasip there is also a store / shop which is ideal for drinks and snacks etc. There is also a local bar / restaurant situated on the same road as the hotel offering local food and refreshments. Failing that there is a Pizza restaurant 200 meters from the hotel which offers takeaway. You can buy drinks from the hotel which is based on an honesty system and paid for on checkout. I would highly recommend a stay here where you will be warmly welcomed by the owners and staff.

The room was really nice and the breakfast was amazing. The location is wonderful, in walking distance of Bled, but the Zasip has a nicer & calmer atmosphere.

Initially we weren’t sure about staying outside Bled, it’s a 30 minute walk to the Lake from House Troja, but we were so glad we did as we wouldn’t have gotten to experience the most beautiful, peaceful area it’s located in, Zasip. We spent some time exploring in the mountains nearby and trekked to the Gorge, about a 40 minute walk through the most wonderful scenery. The property itself is beautiful, everything is catered for with a lovely breakfast. We couldn’t recommend it enough. There are busses that run from/to Bled but you have to check the timetable as they’re not very frequent so we ended up walking every time. We couldn’t recommend House Troha or the area enough if you’re happy to walk and not be in Bled itself. There is one restaurant around 5 minute walk away which we ate at once and it was perfectly fine with traditional cuisine but they close early some nights so don’t get caught as you will have to go into Bled then, or the local shop is open until 8pm.
