Great location, being winter we wondered about the cold, but the central heating was excellent

Location great, just a short walk to the village, the first 50m has no footpath or street lighting, but we had a flash lamp and hiviz vests and that was fine... in the summer time the road may be a little more busy, but it will be bright.

Enjoyed our time at Mary’s cottage and would stay again.

This property was very spacious and comfortable for just 2 people. The parking is good and it is an easy walk to the village (even at night in October drizzle - just the first 20 m without footpath) it was good to have a washing machine and dryer. The heating was very efficient as it was a little chilly. The host was very friendly and welcoming.

It is a little dated and tired in places although this didn’t worry us once we settled in. It would have been nice to have a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk and a little washing powder. So we didn’t have to buy all this for a couple of cups of tea and a load of washing.

Excellent base for touring areas

Easy to find and within walking distance of the town. The property was clean, minimalist but with all that was needed. Heating very efficient😀 and plenty of very hot water, shower was fab.

Pillows and double mattress needed replacing 🤔 apart from that all good 😃

How local it was to sneem town.. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay.. Very rustic cottage vibes..

We really appreciate our stay at Mary's cottage, the location was perfect to make the ring of Kerry. As a family of 5 it was perfect for us. The kitchen has everything you need. Highly recommended

A gorgeous, homely stay in the Kerry hills.

The views from the bedrooms took our breath away. The kitchen had everything we needed (though some cooking oil would’ve been nice). The kids loved exploring the garden with all its plants and frogs, and we loved the barbecue. The town is great and pretty accessible (only a short stint of walking on the road, and then pavements the rest of the way). Loads of good shops, public art and places to eat – be sure to check out the sculpture trail and the playground! OSheas had some great music and St Michael’s has some good stained glass as well. About half hour down the road to the Derrynane beach if you find some sun. All around a lovely spot.

Had to clean the barbecue, but it wasn’t too difficult.

Great location only steps away from Sneem village centre. the facilities were great and 2 ensuite bathrooms were very helpful! Eddie was a very welcoming host.

We loved everything, one thing we missed as big coffee drinkers was a coffee machine.

The cottage was newly refurbished and very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the village of Sneem. Very close to beaches, kayaking, Kenmare, Ring of Kerry, horse riding. Beautiful location in Kerry. Hosts were very accomodating. Couldn't recommend more and look forward to staying again.

Great modern renovated cottage in scenic County Kerry

The location is superb, within 5 minutes walk to the town. Only a few metres of walk involve no pavement but otherwise fine. The cottage is well renovated and very modern and clean, each bedroom has an ensuite. The kitchen and living area are open plan and spacious. The outdoor terrace area is outstanding, with superb views of the surrounding mountains and greenery, and includes a gas barbecue.

The only minor issue was that the kitchen could do with a few more bigger bowls and glasses etc. Otherwise, everything was absolutely great!

Perfect family escape

Perfect Accommodation .Family trip, located beside Sneem Hotel. 30 mins drive to beaches, killarney national park. Good host and nice man. WiFi in house,Saorview,self.contained apartment. 2 bedrooms , 3 singles in first room and 1 double 1 single, all ensuite, 1.large family room for tv ,dining and kitchen, immaculately finished. Apt in Sneem more or less, though a small village plenty of Ice cream parlours gift shops, pubs and on Atlantic way. Stunning coastline drives to beach or mountains.

Schön für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt

Wir haben uns für diese Unterkunft entschieden, weil wir den Ring of Kerry, Ring of Beara und Slea Head Drive machen wollten. Sehr nette Unterkunft, ruhig gelegen und trotzdem ist das süße Örtchen Sneem quasi fussläufig erreichbar. Es war sehr schön, der Garten drumherum hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen- sehr malerisch.

Küchenzubehör, wie Schneebesen, Nudelsieb und tiefe Teller fehlten. Der Toilettendeckel im unteren Bad ist defekt- besser nicht drauf setzen.;-)

Petite maison en bordure de Sneem

Joli petite maison à 10 minutes à pieds du centre de Sneem. Chambres minimalistes mais confortables. La maison a 2 chambres au premier étage et chacune a sa salle de bains. Au rez-de-chaussée une grande pièce qui fait cuisine, salon et salle à manger. Plus une buanderie et un WC. Tout est assez pratique et fonctionnel. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de l'extérieur à cause des midges. Donc aucune idée si le jardin est praticable ou pas. Parking sur place.

Si vraiment il faut trouver quelque chose. Nous n'avons pas trouvé le barbecue et il n'y a pas 4 verres à vin.... bref des détails.
