Exceptional

Location was ideal to visit derrynane beach and derrynane house short spin in the car. Great location to tour surrounding areas such as waterville , sneem, kenmare.. lovely restaurant and pub in the village The Blind Piper which was less than a 5 min walk from the house. The food was fantastic. Only there for two nights so didnt get time to visit all attractions. House was spacious especially kitchen and sitting room. Lovely house and was perfect for us on our short stay.

No shop in village open when we visited nearest shop was in castlecove or in waterville. We were told this in advance by host so we stocked up on essentials on our way down, or while out sightseeing.
