The Magnificent Maison du Charme

This was my third time in Florence and by far the best room I’ve stayed in. (Precious rooms don’t even register in my memory). The room is in a secure, historical building just a couple of minutes walk from the Duomo. The room we stayed in was huge with high ceilings. Our window faced the street with complete soundproofing, and very comfortable. Everything worked and instructions for arriving were clear and simple. Flavio provided excellent guidance for parking in the restricted zone, or ZTL. He checked in on us throughout our stay. Future visits, we will look no further. Can’t beat for value in the heart of Florence.

- Close to all the popular spots - good air condition - quiet location at night - high ceilings made the room spacious - staff very quick when answering questions

- need more counter space for toiletries - need long mirror to see outfits

The location was absolutely amazing. The style of old spacious rooms but with modern finish was really beautiful and cozy. Perfect for our stay in Florence.

Not much.

Various things. Toilet had a problematic flush. Bidet plug was stuck so wouldn’t drain with ease. . Hand shower didn’t work. Very mean with the number of coffee pods given. Access codes given just before arrival so couldn’t plan in good time. Noisy room as restaurant directly opposite our bedroom. Towels need to be refreshed.
