Casa Cometa - vista mare

Good contact with the owner and regular communication and was met at the property on arrival. Two decent bedrooms although bedroom 2 beds are more suitable for children but the sofa bed in the lounge is fine. The balconies are both the same side but unfortunately are only in the sun for an hour in the morning when we visited in mid September. It is near the best beach area literally a 5 minute walk. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the centre of monopoli.

The kitchen is tired, but functional. The television is not a smart tv so could not use our Netflix or Amazon accounts which in this day and age is unusual, It’s only a few £100 to get a decent smart tv and the owner should update it.

Receptividade do anfitrião é ótima

Great balcony which can be used for outdoor dining; washing machine was a big plus; many parking spaces on a private lot. Elevator in the building very convenient

Non working single air conditioning in the living room only made it extremely difficult to sleep in the apartment bedrooms; we ended up sleeping in the living room! It was extremely hot in the apartment. The air conditioning was not blowing cold air at all, it was only moving hot air around. The fan we requested was not working properly, but was creating crazy loud noise. Ants were a problem for the first three days, then after spraying, the issue was controlled. Many non-functioning minor items in the apartment: faucet and shower head spraying water everywhere; bathroom handle was broken. Overall, expectations were a lot higher for the apartment, disappointed
