Very disappointing.

location was ok.

the wifi didn't work. i couldn't connect all the time i was there, not even in the bar. The place houses people on the dole who are smoking weed in their rooms. the place stunk of weed.

Rooms were basic but very quiet despite the disco in the bar. Staff were pleasant , friendly and attentive . Both checking in and the bar staff. Lager was also excellent

Worse place I have ever stayed in!

The shower had good water pressure and heated up quite fast.

The shower cubicle and ceiling had mould and scum residue. Clearly unhygienic. Blood stains on the pillows. The stool was ripped. Only 1 cup in a two twin single room. Should of been 2 cups. Room isn't the best in size nor is the bathroom. Felt like I was in a box. The walls are thin, noisy guests kept me up most of the night until early hours of the morning. No respect for other guests. Should of got my deposit back with 24hrs. Waited 3 days after complaining to get it back. I will not stay there again!!

Location was good, a couple of minutes walk to train station . 10 minutes into Birmingham The rooms were basic but clean

I found the mattresses too soft. I stayed Friday and Saturday. People were late checking out on Saturday morning and staff were banging doors to get them out which woke me. Generally it was quite noisy

Worst stay I've ever had

Despite advertising being wheelchair accessible, there was a large step to the reception, and another to the hall where the rooms were located. On arrival, I was told I had a room on the 2nd floor, with no lift! I had booked the room by email in August for my trip in November, and they replied that it wouldn't be a problem. The bathroom was not accessible in a wheelchair, so I couldn't wash or use the toilet! The disabled room had been allocated to 3 able-bodied workers! The mattress was just springs, no foam/ sponge. To top it off the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and there didn't appear to be any staff around!

Station inn is really valid for your money, the room was very clean, bedding made properly with clean bed sheet. The cleaners did a very fantastic job.

Everything.booked a room with double bed a single bed.top floor. 4 Flights of stairs.next room from me played music till 3.00pm in morning.no staff on at night.it said evening bar meals.nope.asked of breakfast was being served .no.not at weekends..room was cold with just small heater.bed was uncomfortable only got very minimal sleep throughout the night.would I stay again....no chance..

The staff were all very friendly. The bed was comfortable and clean.

The standard of cleaning in the room was poor, with dirt on the carpet and a dirty shower. The walls of the room were incredibly thin and easy to hear any noise whatsoever from neighbouring rooms, including telephone calls

The location to the NEC was perfect, 5min walk to the train station, 10min train ride straight into the nec rooms are not perfect but exceptionally outstanding value

If they received good reviews for this hotel then they must be paying some one to leave them.

Being welcomed by silver fish all over the bed 🤢and God knows what else The smell of weed as you walk through the entrance..... as soon as we saw mattress we checked our instantly! Called them and all they said was sorry about that .

Not family-friendly

Staff was great very friendly. The pub side of it was good and clean to a standard. Although I had a pint couple of times and felt my mouth was bubbling where the pint glasses haven't been washed out properly.

The rooms weren't so good that had thick dust on the shelves had cobwebs on the ceiling walls. We all felt itchy there , and the next morning, we woke up. There was a bug on the bed where my daughter and wife were sleeping. The pub we asked about food they didn't have chef to cook evening food and said there are doing breakfast in morning so morning after we went for cooked breakfast then was told it had to be pre booked. But they did do it for us, which I thought was good of them even tho the guy night before didn't tell us we had to book the day before. The breakfast itself wasn't that good. We felt sick afterwards and was very greasy. Also, you have locals going there for a night out that was happily sniffing cocaine in toilets and outside, not somewhere where you would want to take the kids. We didn't have a shower and just washed our self's down because the showers looked disgusting. It's more for young dosh house to go out partying then go back to sleep, not for kids

Avoid at all cost...

The location wasn't too far from railway station

We stayed there for 3 nights and found bed bugs on our 2nd night there (and took pictures of them as proof). They changed our room quite quickly but then the second room had hygienic issues like dust in the drawer (they said it's most likely uncleaned cigarette dust), suspicious red spot (presumably blood) on the pillow itself (they also confidently mentioned they never washed the pillows, only the covers), there were unsanitary stains left in the toilet and no toilet brush, and the shower drain had old uncleaned hair. They said they'd call an inspection for the bed bugs and would update us after our leave and we'd only receive any sort of compensation if they found anything. Quite some time passed and we called them to check on the inspection and once they heard it's us they hung up immediately and told us to text them which we did, and to this day there's been no reply. Also it can get extremely rowdy at the pub area at night which is also right at the hotel entrance which isn't the most pleasant to come back to after a long day, and the mattress is also not very comfortable and you can feel the springs underneath. The car park is also quite small and if you arrive late there's a chance there won't be any space.

TV wasn’t working and it was attended to quickly and fixed by a very friendly member of staff.
