Tranquil, Lovely, Ideal!

Beautiful, peaceful and private spot. Lodge was comfortable, well equipped and proportioned, shower pressure was good, everything very clean and kept to a high standard. Owners are super lovely and very helpful. Bed are comfortable with good pillows and duvets and bed linen was reasonably good quality. Lovely place to reset.

Would have preferred big size towels like bath sheets but it’s a small thing and would not stop us staying again.

Absolutely lovely lodge, location and facilities, very pleasantly surprised. Bed was comfortable and kitchen/ living area well fitted out. Great base to explore the local and wider area. Shop and pub in village also very friendly.

Open your door to peace and tranquillity

Fantastic place with the friendliest hosts who made us feel so welcome. The lodge was clean and contemporary with a homely feel. The beds were so comfortable which were perfect after a full day of fishing. The waters and surrounding landscape are picturesque which gave us the peace and tranquillity we hoped for. This place is great even if your not aiming to fish the well stocked waters. We caught lots of carp up to 10lb but I'm sure there are much bigger fish in there since were snapped by a few monsters! Thanks for a lovely stay, ill be bringing our children for another break soon as this place is ideal, meeting all our needs.

It was so idyllic , very peaceful , quiet, beautiful location the lodges where very spacious spotlessly clean , well equipped , the comfy bed was a dream , the best shower, my Stay was flawless local pubs great food and good value , saw a barn owl greater spotted woodpecker and lap wings lakes are immaculate and lots of birds was looking for a relaxing break couldn’t have asked for more will be back x immaculate venue Thankyou x jacqui and jon

Fabulous relaxing time wish we had gone for longer plenty to do in surrounding area

Spotlessly clean - everything you needed - great beds lovely bedding fabulous shower - only three other lodges so very relaxing lovely island to go to that had a wood burner barbecue and a summerhouse with fridge and microwave - will be returning

Had a lovely new year stay. Steve’s son was so helpful when I got a puncture couldn’t of asked for nicer hosts. The lodge was spotless, quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend a stay. Thank you

Exceptional! From the minute we arrived with a warm greeting and shown where everything was everything was great! The hosts couldn't have been more helpful. The accommodation is fantastic and everything you need is there and its spotlessly clean. Relaxing and comfortable in every way. The fishing is excellent and kept my friend busy and is well stocked, we can't wait to return and just have a relaxing time fishing!

Perfect for fishing and chills ✌️

What didn't we like? From the moment we booked to when we left, we couldn't fault the lodge, hospitality and experience! So much so that it would be awesome to keep it a secret but it's a special place that needs to be shared. The lodges are new, exceptionally clean, nicely decorated and spacious with everything you need. A lovely little touch with the cookies and tea / coffee stuff for arrival. A very warm welcome from Steve and later met his partner, Rosie. A lovely couple who are happy to keep out of your way but always on hand and happy to chat when around the site. The fishing was awesome. My partner and son (10) loved it and spent all day by the water. The weather helped and made for some stunning pictures. A quiet and peaceful site perfect in every way. Thank you...I think its a sign of a good stay when you come home and look at dates to return!

If there was 1 thing, it would be the need for bigger mugs...we are proper tea bellys haha
