Deceiving on booking.com pictures of a pool when there is no pool

Fantastic thermal pool

The breakfast for someone who enjoys savoury start was quite minimal.

when we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist did her best to communicate with the hotel in Rome where we had forgotten our passports and was doing her best to help despite the fact that I had enter in a dispute with her regarding the extortionate price for paying simply for a bed and a breakfast at the amount 545 for three nights. As I was about to cancel, the receptionist warned me that if I cancel, I will lose the total amount of money. We were pressurized to forget about our disappointment and fall for the bait. We initially thought that the room came with the Spa as booking.com had clearly advertised the hotel with its spa facilities and displayed pictures and photos of all the spa facilities. They went even further to show a drop in the price from 777.00 Euro for the three nights to 525. we thought that it was a good deal and without phoning up the hotel, we went ahead with the booking, only to discover the horrors that more has to be paid in order to use the Spa, which in the end amounted more than the original price before the discount.

There were couple of disappointment: -The room came with no Kettle for making tea or a warm drink - The wifi did not work properly, it was erratic! - The spa facilities, though they were excellent, they were timed to 17 minutes except the outdoor pool. -We were not given bathrobes until the second night when we booked the grotto. - After settling the bill and vacating the premises, we were on our way back to Rome, we received a shocking message suggesting we had stolen the bathrobes when we clearly left them behind in the room. These bathrobes were used for two nights. They were wet from using the Grotto ( hot & steamy room) and the outdoor pool. We were threatened with litigation when we did NOT take their bathrobes. We phoned up and told them exactly where they were in the room: mine was hanging on the hook in the bathroom and my husband's was on top of the bed. Later on, she wrote to say they found one. I had to empty my belongings while taking a video on the seats of the train and my husband's. As a result, I lost my Camel water container which I used for my Via Francigena walk, it dropped behind the seats and I lost it as a result. It cost me more than the bathrobe. We were and still are very annoyed and angry at the fact that we had to take a video and expose all our personal items in order to prove our innocence! to make the receptionist realize that she had made a grave blunder! not only did she dare to insult us and abuse us, she offered no APOLOGY!! we paid through the nose for the Spa we used, the two cups of coffees we drank, city Tax and other charges. she claimed she was only charging 2 euro for Tax when it came up as 16.95 euro in the actual bill.
