Le Balcon de Colmar

We have visited Colmar several times and stayed in private accommodation each time,however we have found that this apartment was far superior to them all and situated in an excellent central old town location, it was immaculately presented just as you would expect from your own home, the photos shown on Booking. Com are truly representative of what you will find. Some reviews have stated that it was difficult to locate the property and the stairs could be a challenge, we did not find any issues with this and the instructions provided by the host Benoît, were excellent. Once we had settled in we decided to use the car parking facility offered by Benoît, even though we had declined it initially, this proved to be not a problem at all with Benoît sorting it out for us. Yes, delivery trucks did start at around 7ish but it wasn’t a problem because being on holiday with so much to explore we were eager to be up and about. Having the balcony meant we could sit, relax and enjoy the ambience of the surroundings, so we would thoroughly recommend everything about it including the host Benoît.

Incredible location, right in the heart of everything. Light and bright flat, comfortable bed, great shower, and even laundry! The balcony was amazing.

The location was great. Easy to communicate with the host. Ample room and everything you would need for a short or long stay in Colmar. Nice balcony, but too cold while we were there. Don't hesitate to book!!!

Cute apartment in the center of the Colmar village. Close to all of the shops. Apartment was very comfortable. Owner very helpful and accommodating. The Alsace area is quite cute and charming to visit.

We chose the wrong weekend to be in Colmar. Was a holiday weekend. Many stores, shops and restaurants were closed. Of the few Coffee shops open, they didn’t open till 9. Didn’t know we need to plan ahead and shop for groceries. Couldn’t find an open market to find food to be able to cook something. Got to enjoy the area on Monday before we left on Tuesday.
