Our stay at Koča na Uskovnici was truly wonderful, as always. The meals, especially breakfast are excellent, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their friendliness and care. The lodge is modern, spotless and very well looked after, with impressive facilities that exceeded expectations, far above the expectations for a “mountain hut”. Surrounded by breathtaking nature and peaceful scenery, it’s a place we love returning to again and again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort and natural beauty.

The location, super friendly staff, felt very homely and welcoming and good breakfast on offer
Not the most accessible road up, 5 minute limit of hot water and not the widest range of dinner foods available, no privacy in bedrooms

Good location and very sustainable — everything made of wood, very clean, comfy beds
The checkout at 9:30 — earliest i’ve ever seen anywhere! Also breakfast was quite disappointing, the bread tasted old and there wasn’t much choice jn general

Everything was perfect! The place was beautiful, the room was clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the people were very friendly. We only stayed for one night, but we would love to come back.
The road to Planinska koča is a bit scary, especially if you're not used to mountain roads, but it's definitely worth it!
