Quinta Das Essências

Everything was amazing; the room, the views, the pool, and the host. The grounds are beautiful. A perfect location for a peaceful getaway. Louisa was so helpful with suggestions of where to eat and where to shop. We didn’t have our own transport (we were staying here as the accommodation for a wedding we were attending at nearby Quinta de Eira was fully booked) and were tired from our journey when we arrived. Louisa very kindly dropped us into town to shop and organised a taxi for our return. We were very fortunate that we were the only guests staying at the time, so had the place to ourselves for 3 nights. We felt so rested and relaxed and ready to go on to stay in Porto for the rest of the week. The grounds are currently being extended, so there is some light construction work at the moment, but it didn’t affect our stay.

We had a few issues with the automatic door locking system. We couldn’t enter our property one night after returning late from a wedding at Quinta de Eira. Our door code wasn’t working. We called Louisa and she resolved the issue quickly.
