Quirky, comfortable, quiet in an ideal location

Comfortable, quiet and cozy. Fantastic location. The host has thought of everything to make a wonderful, easy stay. Comfortable beds and pillows and quality bedlinen. Lovely and warm even though the temperature was freezing outside, I suspect it may be hot in the summer however as there is only one window to open and I noticed the host had kindly left fans. There are lots of wonderful restaurants, cafés, bakeries supermarkets and shops on the doorstep plus a fresh produce market on a Wednesday morning (maybe also Saturday or Sunday but we weren't there for the weekend) Perfect for myself and my teenage daughter. We are really sad to leave.

As with any home there are a few minor snags to fix… no handle on the fridge, coffee machine is easy to use but makes weak coffee, no headboard on the upstairs bed and it slides a little as you move at night which knocked the plug to the light out of the socket and woke me up. The stairs ideally need a handrail and a nonstick frying pan would be useful along with a spatula.

Near to grand mosque and eateries. And also close to Place Monge station. Staff is very helpful. I can go mosque for my subuh everyday when I was there. Just waking distance to mosque.

The location was perfect. Simply perfect. I had never stayed in Paris and, at the recommendation of a friend who had lived there for some time, I wanted to stay in the 5th arrondissement. The LA GRACIEUSE - MILORA INN was perfect. It is very close to all the restaurants, cafes, shops and stores of Rue Moffetard, around a corner from the Metro's Place Monge, and just two blocks from Jardin des Plantes. We felt safe and secure at all times (well - we did all over Paris - but it's especially nice to feel that way where you're staying). There are two bedrooms - the larger one (with sitting area) is downstairs. This was ideal because my friend snores loudly (think freight train very closely) - with the separation of the two bedrooms and the solid construction, I did not hear him at all. It is very comfortable. The beds and linens were great. There is a good size refrigerator. A very nice bathroom towel warmer (sometimes the little things make a big difference!). And - importantly - it was impeccably clean. Jean-Phillipe is an excellent, prompt, thorough communicator. He was very helpful (e.g., for providing information about luggage storage; for arranging our wish to stay an extra night).

The bathroom sink (out of necessity because of the layout... you'll see) is quite tiny. The rest of the bathroom is reasonably/ appropriately proportioned. If you're staying with three others, you'll coordinate the use of the bathroom. This (bathroom sink size) definitely should NOT be a game-changer for you. I'm just letting you know by this comment that I'm critical about places where I stay... so all the positives previously mentioned are well-deserved!

Great location in a charming neighbourhood and very close to the Metro. Clean and pleasent appartement.

I had not realized that the appartement was in a backyard with one of the rooms in the basement. But it was not really an issue since the place was clean and pleasant and we spent most of the time out in the city anyway.

There is only one window in the kitchen area, the rest of the apartment is in the basement. But we were only there to sleep so it didn’t matter.

The house wasn't clean when we arrived in te evening, and after the cleaning service the linen in all the bedrooms were already dirty, used and not changed. The change has been done in the evening of the day after.

I book all my accommodation on booking.com but this was the most disappointing and VERY expensive for the facilites and experience The beds were very uncomfortable, the matresses need replacing as if two of you, you roll into the middle of the bed and it gave you a bad back and not a good nights sleep, the pillows you only get one and there was no filling to it There was a lot of dust balls under the bed so not been cleaned properly Not enough hot water even for first shower and there were 5 of us, so we had to wash quickly and then in cold water literally for a minute There is a large table in the kitchen which you can't move around - needs to be smaller and more compact for the space which is tiny The shower needs bleaching and scrubbing it was orange in the corners The Fridge needed to be cleaned It really needs a spring clean as dust on all the pipework Coffee machine didn't work The sink is so small in the bathroom it is impossible to clean your teeth or wash in it so you had to do this in the kitchen You hear the underground when in bed

Underground rooms without windows

Is situated in a good area with shops, restaurants and very near to metro Station.

Apartament is situated underground in a old villa with no windows. You hear and feel the metro like is under your bad. Lady with cleaning has some problems, because she don't change bed lines and didn't wash the floor... In rest ok...

Great Location and good value for money

The location is great - right across the road from the metro station and then lots of cafes and a supermarket all within a 2 minute walk. We could also walk to the Notre Dame and The Pantheon. Handy having a washing machine. It is also very quiet. The kitchen is well stocked and you can easily cook meals. Felt like a really safe nice part of Paris.

The bathroom is very tiny - we were two adults and two children - and that was plenty as it’s a quite small apartment. The hot water lasts for no more than 3/4 minutes so you have to space all of your showers out which was a bit annoying. The pillows are terrible - they aren’t even pillows just bits of stuffing! Downstairs smells musty as there are no windows or a fan. There is no air con but one fan upstairs.

Lovely accomodation. Loved being a 1 minute walk from metro with access to all the sights.. The area itself has lovely restaurants and walks.. Everyone so friendly.. Jean Philippe was very helpful with any questions before and during visit. Accomodation was perfect for our needs.

The location is great, 2 min walk from the subway station, many restaurants in the area. On foot you can reach even Notre Dame area, or the Pantheon (15-30 min). The apartment was very clean, well equipped (mostly everything you need), big enough for 4-6 persons. Very clear access instructions (in French) and we could enter the appartment earlier than the official hour (15h00).

The extendable sofa was not very comfortable (and noisy), the other 2 beds are OK
