Brno apartment

The property was clean and very spacious, with a convenient location. The layout includes an entrance hall with a wardrobe, a bedroom with two comfortable beds and a TV, and a living room with a large, comfortable sofa and a fairly spacious kitchenette. There was also a dining table with enough chairs. The air conditioning worked well, which was a major advantage during the hot weather. Kaufland supermarket and the railway station are both nearby, about a 10-minute walk away. The kitchen had exactly two sets of plates and cutlery. This is sufficient for two people staying only a few nights, but a few extra plates, spoons and forks would have been appreciated. They would not cost much, and having only two forks and two cups felt rather limited. The bathroom was excellent - clean and spacious and a hairdryer was provided. The only drawback was that there was just a bottle of hand soap, so you need to bring your own shampoo, shower gel and other toiletries. These are usually provided in other apartments.

I live in Brno, and two people were visiting me for nine nights. What surprised us most was the host’s extremely strict no-visitors policy: no one else was allowed to enter the property, even for a few minutes. Literally no one! We were not even allowed to go inside to help carry the luggage. The host referred to some alleged new Booking.com rules, but we could not find any such rules. Perhaps he had had an unpleasant experience with visitors in the past, which might explain his strict policy. This created a very unpleasant first impression and led to an emotional disagreement. Fortunately, we eventually found some common ground, and the host “made an exception” for us. After that, we had no further problems with either the host or the property. He was kind and helpful throughout the rest of the stay.

Clean, spacious, good wifi

I'd prefer a mounted shower head so I can use both hands while showering. Also a little further than I'm used to, to get to public transport, but then, I'm an old man!!

Nice place for short and longer stay.
