A year after my previous stay at House No 1, it didn't disappoint. In fact, it was even better, because it was much quieter. The house is beautiful inside, a great renovation, and tastefully furnished, with every room having a different vibe. Loved the sash windows that look out onto the town. Loved the books - it has a calm, thinking atmosphere that is anchored in Nieu Bethesda. The kitchen is really excellent for a rental - makes it pleasant to self cater, but of course, that's hard to do what with the town's good restaurants. Loved the fact that you park in the back, off the road, in a shady courtyard.
House is on main road between two central parts of town, so there is sometimes passing traffic early in morning.
