We loved it as somewhere different and special.

Location was excellent with food and attractions within 30 mins driving.

We knew the bathroom and toilet was going to be accessed from the outside so we were prepared but the reality when cold and wet was a little disconcerting but still ok.

Unique Ireland experience

I absolutely loved the remote, quiet rural location and the spaciousness of the place. The land it is situated on is quite special and the care and attention put into the restoration of this church to gallery is felt and seen. The sound system is a fun bonus! The warmth and hospitality of the hosts was outstanding, from start to finish, I esp loved the cookies and milk they left for me. If was my most favorite stay during my time in Ireland and I can't wait to return!

This is not just accomodation it is a unique experience. Art, music, stunning surrounds.

We loved everything. The toilet is beautiful and modern. You do need to go outside to access it, so as long as you are OK with that, this is an exceptional place to stay.

The originality of the place – a truly unique experience.

The bathroom being outside was maybe not the most convenient, but it really fit with the whole context and in the end it was even fun, so I wouldn’t really consider it a downside.

The feeling of sleeping in a church

This type of place is unique - we travel a lot and we have never had the opportunity to stay in such place. Plus, A sound system was installed to have great sound in the place. We highly recommend

Stunning

Beautifully restored church into an amazing place to stay. Enormous room well furnished and equipped with original artwork on the walls. Super lighting with great sound system. Excellent WiFi. Bathroom was outside which only added to the uniqueness of the property. Wonderful hosts Eimear & Andrew, who couldn't do enough for us, offered to drive and collect us from local pub. Would highly recommend a stay in this little haven.

It was a privilege to stay in this former church which Andrew has renovated into an art gallery. It is a visually stunning and comfortable space where we also had access to a great sound system. Andrew invited us to blast our music and we did! And danced!

an amazing place to stay full of love and attention to detail

this place is amazing the most beautifully restored and presented building we met the owner a lovely man who showed us around and gave us history on the building the love and attention that has gone unto the art gallery unreal spotless Andrew and eimear have thought of everything and presented to the highest of standards coffee tea milk in the fridge even biscuits fresh flowers arrangement on table beautiful beds so comfortable and again presented beautifully if you are lucky enough to book you will realise it is a privilege to stay here beautiful views from seating area at side and so peaceful and nothing is to much trouble for the owners recommending lovely places to eat and things to see in. the area we met eimear before we left a lovely lady this place will far exceed your expectations the pictures don't do it enough justice and in the night time it takes on a life of its own the lighting and speaker system amazing a privilege to have stayed here can't wait to return

Stunning, worth a visit

Host had the building warm and cosy when we arrived and he was there when we pulled up to show us around. The building itself was stunning and really well presented and well stocked. I'm sorry I didn't get to enjoy it for longer, will definitely be back!

The owner was really nice, he was really helpful. Also it’s a great place to celebrate with friends. Cleaning was on point.

A gem in the middle of the Burren

Andrew and Eimear were very welcoming and friendly! The place was clean and comfortable and it has all the necessities. It was such an experience staying in this art gallery and we will definitely be back again.

This was a unique experience. The old church was a very peaceful building in an idyllic setting. The sound system and acoustics were excellent, for anyone who likes music. Eimear was very friendly and helpful and everything we needed was there - fridge, kettle, toaster, lovely hot shower. Would highly recommend!

A super staycation in the Art House. The church as been lovingly restored, keeping it original. Comfortable and exactly how described. Even loved the outside bathroom. Overall its quirky, clean and full of history. A great opportunity to experience such unique accommodation. We explored the area and dinned out before returning for the evening with cheeses etc. Having no cooker was a good excuse to indulge in local cuisine. Beautiful views and perfect location for exploring the Burren area. Andrew and Eimear were great hosts.

Fabulous stay in a unique property.

My husband and I had a fabulous 2 night stay. We loved the uniqueness of the property. It was nice to be in the countryside. The views are lovely. Eimear was so friendly and helpful and always available to offer help. Everything we needed was provided and the sound system was a nice bonus.

You have to go outside to access the toilet but that didn't really bother us. You have to expect quirks with such a unique property.

Para disfrutar de un lugar con encanto

Tiene su encanto dormir en una antigua iglesia rehabilitada. El lugar es encantador, tanto interiormente, donde el amplio espacio es decorado con mobiliario antiguo y cuadro pintados por el anfitrión, como el exterior. El anfitrión super amable, nos recibió a la llegada y nos contó un poco la historia del lugar que el mismo ha rehabilitado. En la nevera teníamos hasta una jarrita con leche fresca de sus vacas. Todo muy bien.

No le pongo un 10 porque es un poco incomodo que el baño esté fuera, pero es algo que hay que asumir dado el sitio en el que estamos (igual estaría bien poner unos orinales debajo de las camas para la noche! jaja). Tampoco estaría mal que pusieran una placa eléctrica para poder cocinar algo, ya que solo hay microondas, aunque si vas pocos dias tampoco lo hechas mucho de menos.

un lieu très dépaysant, magique

le lieu est incroyable, c'est la première fois que nous dormions dans une église, et encore plus unique, des oeuvres d'art y étaient exposées. Toute la famille était très dévouée pour que le séjour se passe à merveille. Andrew et sa femme sont très sympathiques et aiment parler avec leurs hôtes. La chambre est équipée d'un magnifique bureau ou du matériel de dessin est mis à disposition pour griffonner, laisser libre cours à son imagination. Les lits sont très confortables et l'espace de vie son est magnifique. Nous avons adoré les lumières bleu

le petit lavabo est un peu juste pour faire la vaisselle,

Eine einmalige Erfahrung!

Es war sehr exklusiv, eine alte renovierte Kirche, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und wundervolle Kunstwerke/Bilder des Besitzers an den Wänden. Und eine Soundanlage ist eingebaut, lädt zum Tanzen ein. Der große Raum hat eine besonders gute Energie. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich.

Der Boden ist etwas kalt (gefliest), das ist einfach so bei so einem alten Bauwerk, man sollte jedenfalls Hausschuhe mitbringen. Das WC Bad ist im Aussenanbau und etwas provisorisch, somit muss man raus wenn man das WC benutzen möchte, aber das nimmt man alles gerne in Kauf bei so einem besonderen Objekt.
