Awesome view, balcony, quiet location, great hiking

A very nice room, with a great view, in Corniglia, the least crowded of the Cinque Terre towns. The host, Cinzia, was very helpful, keeping in touch on WhatsApp, meeting us on the street to show us where to park and making a dinner reservation for us at a fantastic restaurant (Cecio).

Everything! The apartment is perfectly located, it is clean, comfortable, well-equipped. The owner, Cinzia, is more than friendly, she helped with the direction, with the parking, explained everything, even prepared a surprise for us in the apartment! We were more than happy to stay at Amare Il Mare, would return anytime!

We were in the “Wine Room” and loved our stay! The room has incredible views and made great use of space. Excellent hospitality - Cinzia went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and convenient arrival and departure.

Amazing stay! Loved the place, the location and the views. The room was very clean and amazing host.

I loved the place and the location. The room is centrally located in Corniglia with beautiful walks around the village. The apartment entrance/exit is right by the steps down to the train station, which is really convenient. It is about 300 steps down to the station. We arrived by car and the host also provided us with a parking space within a short walking distance. It is generally not recommended to drive into the village by car as the roads are small and windy and generally only have room for one vehicle with traffic going both ways. So, avoid driving if you can, but we loved the fact that were provided with a parking space. The host was amazing. The room was very clean with a nice little balcony with gorgeous views of the ocean and nearby village. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect Room with an Amazing View of the Sea

Amare Il Mare is more than a charming, comfortable, room with an amazing view of the sea. It is an inspired concept - a dream that Cinzia, the proprietor conceptualised and runs extremely well. It is centrally located - near the bus stop to the Corniglia train station, the restaurants like Cecio and Bakery, the village, and the St. Peter’s Catholic Church. I really appreciate the super clean room and bathroom. Cinzia thought about what a guest would need such as a working air-conditioner, a small refrigerator, a working water heater (that is easy to operate), an easy-to-use clothes steamer, a small safe, and coffee/chocolate maker. The room also comes with a thoughtful toiletry kit, bedroom slippers, tapis for the beach, wine with glasses for toasting, naturale and frizzante water, cornetto and other snacks. This property has a lot of amenities sometimes better than a 5-star hotel. I mean, the bathroom even has Chormotherapy lights. Cinzia and husband, Roberto even picked us from and to the train station which is really thoughtful. Thank you for the lovely stay! We hope we can return again to this property.

Wow!! We had the most amazing time at Amare Il Mare. Cinzia and her family are such kind and wonderful hosts. The room is beautiful with lots of added extra touches that made our stay perfect and the view from the terrace is stunning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us Cinzia. You really go out of your way to make your guests feel special and we really appreciated everything. We stayed in the starfish room and the bed and pillows were amazing. I slept better than at home! There is everything you need in the small kitchen to make breakfast and even simple dinners. We loved Corniglia so much. It is quieter than the other villages in Cinque Terre and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend anyone to book with Cinzia and stay here! Thank you!

The perfect place for a comfortable, convenient, quiet stay with a stunning view in Corniglia

Wonderful location, room was comfortable and very clean. The private terrace with a spectacular view is the main attraction. The host is super friendly and helpful. I let her know it was my wife's birthday and they prepared a wonderful surprise with balloons and a bottle of prosecco. Highly recommended.

Loved this special spot in Cinque Terre

Loved the decor and personal touches. The wine and snacks were especially welcome. The views were outstanding.

In extreme hot weather, the beautiful deck outside the suite was almost unusable because of all the hot air from the air conditioning unit.

Great room in beautiful Corniglia

Small room, but very clean and comfortable. Bright and airy, with a view of the water. Good AC and plenty of hot water for the shower. Lots of conveniences too, like a mini fridge, coffee, and snacks. Our host also picked us up at the train station, which was much appreciated.

The view and the balcony! The location is v close to the station for exploring the other towns, just have to climb many steps. Have a parking spot too - which helped cos not many parking location

We stopped for one night on a through hike in Cinque Terre. Quiza is an amazing host. She made it easy to find her and check in. She was responsive and willing to accommodate our changing schedule. She thought of all the details a traveler may need from providing an adaptor, to a welcome gift including wine, water, pizza snacks and breakfast items - this host went above and beyond expectations. The room was small, but provided a lot of amenities. This was a most comfortable bed and the view from the balcony in the Stone Room was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Amazing once in a lifetime experience!!!

We loved staying at Amare Il Mare, and experiencing Corniglia and Cinque Terra. The owner and manager, Cinzia, greeted us at our car when we arrived, and she and her colleague helped us carry our bags to the apartment. So kind and gracious. Cinzia prepared a useful and comprehensive book of information that she leaves in the room (including information about the room, the town, activities places to eat, transportation, laundry, and more), and shares that "I put my heart and soul into realizing this project" and we can verify that that is a true statement. Cinzia took such good care of us, with all of the food, snacks, drinks, and Netflix to make our stay enjoyable. The apartment was incredibly clean, and Cinzia cleaned and restocked our apartment so nicely every day. The room (we stayed in the "Stone Room") was very well designed, and she uses every square inch to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The best was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed returning to our beautiful apartment and view every day. Corniglia is much quieter and less congested than the other towns. Corniglia is perfectly situated in Cinque Terra, equidistant from the other 4 Cinque Terra towns. You can even walk to neighboring towns in a few hours, along the coast. At Cinzia's recommendation, we purchased the daily Cinque Terra Card (for 2 days in our case), which allowed us to travel all day between towns, which only takes about 5 minutes by train. Visiting the other towns in Cinque Terra was amazing, with each town having its own geography and personality. We also spent much time in our beautiful room, enjoying the view of the hills and sea. We are from Hawaii, and understand natural beauty, and our stay at Amare Il Mare is at the top of our list. We definitely hope to be back as soon as we can. The best view from all of Corniglia from the private, massive veranda!! Cinzia thought of everything, from the welcome wine and scones, to the snacks & coffee in the fantastic kitchen, to laundry service, restaurant recommendations, ticket links, etc etc. She was an incredible host!

Fabulous gem in Cornelia with incredible views!!

Superb experience! Our hosts treated us like family! They thought of every detail and more to make this a very special memory! We are in the vacation rental business and were very inspired!!! We would highly recommend!!!!

We stayed in the Starfish Room, there was plenty of space, a nice kitchenette, renovated bathroom, and the porch overlooking the ocean is outstanding! The thing that really sets Amare apart is the owners hospitality. Whether it be the offer to pick us up from train station with luggage (lots of stairs in Corniglia - pack light), the basket of food goodies, or the little personal amenity bags - it made it an extra special experience.

Everything about the property and the owners is lovely. I would just note that there is lots of stairs in Corniglia, so packing light.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Super clean, well equipped and the hostess was so kind. Corniglia ended up being our favorite of the 5 towns. we stayed in the starfish room with our own terrace which was equipped to be an outdoor living and dining area- even with tv. Kitchenette was well equipped with dishes, cookware, etc. We were given a welcome bottle of local wine (delicious) and little focaccia for an apertivo. Plenty of coffee and breakfast/snack items were provided as well. free , private parking was included in the rate and our hostess met us to direct us to the parking. I highly recommend ! The price is on par with the area, you are right near the shuttle bus station to the train and/or stairs to the station.

A beautifully decorated room in a central location with a very accommodating host!

The host left plenty of coffee/tea, and packaged breakfast/snack foods in the room. These were refilled each day. The location was very nice. We had a lovely view of the sea from our window. The bathroom amenities were nice as well.

I honestly can’t think of anything negative. The room was small, but that’s ok as accommodations in Europe are generally on the small side and it’s just something you get used to.

A little slice of heaven in one of the most beautiful destinations I have ever visited! Wonderful!

The room was so cute, super clean, and full of extra touches to make our stay fun, comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were amazing! Helpful, kind, and they picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. The location could not be better. Situated just steps away from one of the hiking trails (amazing hike!) and moments away from all Corniglia has to offer. Wonderful view of the ocean and gardens below, and a short walk to a private little garden that is a wonderful spot to sit, relax and just be. Can’t say enough nice things about our stay at Amare Il Mare and beautiful Corniglia! HIGHLY recommend.

This was the most incredible stay. The hosts were so kind and gracious, they offered to pick us up from the train station. They decorated the room so wonderfully for my friends' birthdays. Lovely apartment in a quieter part of Cinque Terre. The balcony is fantastic and spacious, with a magical view. The hosts were also very helpful and picked us up from the train station which would otherwise have been a 15min upslope hike - an exercise especially with luggages

Can be a bit far from the station when exploring the other cities, but there is a shuttle bus if preferred. There are also some bugs too but easily managed out of the apartment - just ensure the windows are closed so no new ones come in :D
