Check in was a little confusing. The door to access the upstairs apartment shares a hallway with the multi unit commercial property. Once inside the space is large and clean. We enjoyed our stay. The property is perfectly located if you want to be downtown.

Interesting property. Lots of room. Clean. Close to town. Need to put the suite number on the door to enter property. Very confusing. Wi Fi is very slow. The ceiling fans were helpful but needto label what goes to what.

Arriving late at night isn’t the optimal choice for this location. Yes, there’s a light switch next to the entrance to turn on lights in the first short hallway, however, you better have your phone out with the flashlight turned on when you turn the corner. It’s pitch black and there’s no light switch. That’s probably why people complain that it’s hard to find. Also, the lockbox outside for the outside door is not in an obvious place - again, you’re going to need your flashlight. The rental was VERY warm upon our arrival. Someone had set the thermostat to “Off” for the AC, but “On” for the fan. So the unit was just circulating hot air - it had been quite warm in Paso Robles that day and the unit is on the second floor. There’s a note above the thermostat that says, “Don’t put AC below 72 or the coils may freeze up and shut down the unit.” Do it took an extended period of time to get it cooled down. Also, there’s no window in one of the bedrooms, so there’s no way for that hot air to escape. The second bedroom only has a skylight that opens. The location of this place is perfect and we were there on the weekend so parking wasn’t an issue at all (none of the businesses in the building were open while we were there). But when I opened the cabinet to get a glass out, almost every glass had fingerprints all over them, almost like someone with lotion on their hands had put them away (there’s no dishwasher). Then when we were ready to leave and I read the “Departure Instructions” I was shocked that they tell you to wash all of the dishes and utensils you’ve used. No wonder the dishes were all spotted and had fingerprints all over them! I would NEVER have the people renting the unit wash the dishes for the next guests to use! They could be careless about washing the dishes thoroughly, they could be sick,
