This delightful 1,450 square feet apartment is well suited for two couples with two bedrooms and two full baths.

My two besties and I had the best time staying in this perfectly located home. No matter what your plans in the Paso area, this place is the perfect home base and has everything you need for a very comfortable and memorable stay. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shopping, movies, and more, Upstairs on Vine is sparkling clean, has comfy beds, plenty of towels, and space for relaxing indoor and out. We hope to be back for a longer stay sometime soon! Thank you for having us!

We enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment. There was plenty of space for two couples. It felt like home away from home. We didn't use the kitchen except for light breakfasts in the morning. It was well equipped to handle meals if you desired to dine in rather than eat out. We enjoyed sharing a glass of wine, conversation and hanging out on the deck with friends. Our only negative comment is the amount of light coming into the large bedroom with the walk-in closet. The neighbor next door keeps a bright porch light on all night that radiates through the wall of windows. This can disturb ones sleep if you are light sensitive.

Upstairs on Vine is perfect. And we do not use that word lightly. The home itself is gorgeous, in meticulous shape and has all that you might need for a get away from a well appointed kitchen, modern yet welcoming rooms, board games, books, etc. In addition, the location is ideal and within walking distance of fabulous tasting rooms, magnificent restaurants, and the best coffee shop (Spearhead!). Though we didn't have any issues, the hosts provided clear instructions and guidance as to the rules of the property as well as how to get in and a lovely bottle of wine from the region. The attention to detail in the rental alone demonstrates how much the hosts care about their guests - we were truly impressed. We are already planning another trip and hope to be reserving Upstairs on Vine for it! Thanks for the perfect home away from home!

We were two couples staying for a weekend birthday celebration. The place was great, clean and spacious. The location is perfect and downtown is only about a 10 minute walk away. We ate dinner out one night and cooked in the other night and used the grill. Visited some wineries and had a wonderful time. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for cooking. Highly recommended and I would stay again!

This property is spacious, quiet, and comfortable. It is located a block and a half from old town Paso, which provides to the guest multiple selections for dining and entertainment. Even though this second-floor unit (stairs only) is located over a business, evenings will be quiet, because the business is closed. Bedrooms are spacious and only one offers an on suite bathroom. Parking is a breeze, offering a good-sized parking lot at the back of the rental. With the property’s location to town, you may never need to drive your car. We will definitely book this property again!!

Very warm and cozy home. We felt right at "home". It was stocked very well with kitchen amenities. Love was put into the furnishings/decor. Conveniently located to the downtown area, could walk easily, but we it was too cold for us at this time. The two balcony patios (on facing front and one on the back side) would have also been nice to use, but too cold once again, this time of year!

My wife and I stayed with my 70+ year old parents here for 4 nights. The property had two comfortable king beds, a spacious kitchen and living area, and all of the basics that you could want. We were within walking distance of downtown Paso, and short drives to all the wineries. The location was ideal. Communication with the owners was perfect. They responded to several texts with questions within minutes and made the check in and out process very simple. We had a great time here and would definitely rent here again!

We rented for a week. Two couples interested in the regional wine scene. The location was perfect for walks to downtown for evening activities, as well as morning walks up into the nearby hills. And it was a very central location for the many vineyards in the area which were a short drive away. The rental was perfect for two couples, with two similar rooms. One has a bathroom attached, so the "common" bathroom was just "owned" by the other couple. The kitchen was well stocked with nearly everything you'd need for cooking a few meals on your own. The natural gas Weber grill on the porch was perfect for a few barbecued steaks. There are businesses located on the ground floor, but we barely noticed them as the parking lot was empty in the evenings when we were in the rental. The only slight warning is that if you are very sensitive to road noise, the house does sit on one of the through streets, so there was occasional traffic noticeable from the front bedroom, but honestly it didn't much bother us at all. If you're interested in visiting the Paso Robles area (especially for the wine scene), this is the place!
