A little gem. Off the beaten track but within walking distance of Cavalese centre, this alpine retreat was ideal for my 3 days of tranquillity whilst also enjoying some of the Winter Paralympics at Tesero, a short drive away.
Bright, clean and functional, this recently converted maso (farmstead) building is within the grounds of a working livestock farm. Roberta and Vincenzo, who are also expert cross-country skiers, are incredibly welcoming; they know every centimetre of the hills, slopes and facilities of the Fiemme Valley and can recommend mountain walks high and low. The buffet breakfast, based on their produce and Roberta's pastries, is an incentive to get you out of your bed at this agriturismo!
It's a 20-minute walk down to the shops, pizzerie and buzz of Cavalese, which still retains the feel of an alpine backwater village, despite its growing popularity. Up the road is Carano, smaller but with its own amenities.
Best to have a hire car to explore (and a Trentino dialect dictionary to hand!) and check you have the compulsory snow chains on board or you could get fined. Fabulous mountain drives, but mind the speed limits and traps. Only a handful of rooms and definitely not one for boozy group holidays.

B&B super accogliente e nuovo. Si trova in una posizione ottima, a 10 minuti dal comprensorio del Cermis e a 5 minuti dal centro di Cavalese, in una zona tranquilla e con vista sulle montagne. La colazione è molto buona e i proprietari sono persone stupende, disponibili e simpatiche. La camera è spaziosa, calda e molto bella esteticamente. Da ritornarci assolutamente!
