Lovely stay on Lake Garda

The hotel is actually a beautiful house with only 5 rooms. The room we had was comfortabel with a good bed. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast served by the lovely always smiling Eleonora. One evening we had dinner on the terrace of the hotel. The food, wine and service were excellent.

excellent hotel in a super location at the borders of Lake Garda. unbelievably beautiful terrace and restaurant facilities in open air, at the waterfront. perfect service in all possible details, with friendly and professional staff. superb food.

just a small detail : when leaving the property on foot, you need to walk a minimum of 30 meters at a public street with a lot of fast cars, and without sidewalk - very dangerous. maybe good to have the people who need to do this , walk out at the tower (second location), because here one can at least cross the street on a safer footpath.

This is our second visit to this very special hotel. A fantastic history, great location and a great restaurant. We drove through France and Switzerland and into Italy over 700 miles simply for dinner by the lake..........sublime.

This hotel is an absolute gem : filled with history, it’s located in a fantastic location on the very chic coast of Gardone Rivera and delivers everything you can expect from a Relais & Chateaux hotel : a very professional staff, an amazing restaurant, an attention to the smallest details. I actually proposed to my girlfriend here and I would do it again without an hesitation.

Really exceptional hospitality at a first class lakeside villa with an interesting history.

We have stayed in many of the four and five star hotels around Garda and Como and we liked this one the most. Sensational cuisine. Most attractive gardens and very helpful staff.

The only criticism I could think of would be to have a bread available at breakfast for those who don’t like toast!

A brilliant site, fantastic view over the lake. Great room in a historical villa that still has the right atmosphere and feeling. The restaurant outside under the canopy, in the morning also the place for the breakfast is a real delight. Great experience!

Historic villa on the edge of Lake Garda. Perfect for a one night stop over on a road trip. The cuisine and service is top notch. Every dish served was impeccable.

The staff was very warm and hospitable. The building is gorgeous, as are the views of Lake Garda. Our suite was beautifully appointed/updated.

It's a difficult area to get around in if you don't have a car. Restaurants are closed on Mondays and there aren't many other food options.
