An amazing experience

Wow what an amazing places very peaceful and a great experience, brilliant hosts really look after you. There are kayaks to rent and will also cook for aswell cold drinks available as well as some beers. Little bit confusing to find the location at first but reply to messages fast I would recommend to park at the bottom of the hill near the bins then head down to the small port on the right hand side that’s where you will be picked up from on boat. Amazing place!

Rest by the lake like at you relatives’ house!

It’s like you came to your beloved aunt Sonya and uncle Vesko. Very kind and welcoming and tasty! It all starts with a 3 min boat ride by the lake - great experience!. The house is nice and cozy. Very quite! Sonya cooks great dinner, the wine is tasty too. Vesko can give you a 1 or 2-hour boat trip by the lake for extra cost and it’s absolutely a must!

I loved everything! This location is so peaceful and beautiful. You arrive by boat from Karuč village and the ride is beautiful. I was treated as if I were family. Wonderful food too—fish fresh from the lake! Mali raj is a very special place. I hope to return.

The owners are super friendly, helpfull en child-friendly! They check every now and then if you need something. Sonja makes the best fish dishes with fish freshly caught by her husband. Every morning the husband comes in by boat with freshly caught fish, really cool to see. The place is quiet since you only get there by boat. The owner picks you up and drops you off as you like. The place is just next to the river so you can jump in the water any time you want. It can get really hot there but there’s the lake and the rooms have AC. We would definitely go back since it really feels like staying with family.

Everything! The peace, the beauty, the cosy-ness, the authenticity and true culture. To get to the accommodation you travel by boat which is pretty exciting!

This place is beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. The owners are lovely and helpful. Would really recommend a visit, especially if you are looking to completely switch off. A family-run guest house, accessible by small boat (they bring you), they have small cabins at the top of a staircase. There is a floating wooden terrace on the lake with sun loungers. Bring bug spray! Home-cooked meals including fresh fish from the lake are a real highlight. They serve local and international wine and beer as well. Wonderful breakfast of your choice (sweet or savoury). They were super accommodating for meat-free food but if you don’t eat fish, maybe ask in advance. The room has everything you need, including shutters so it’s completely dark at night. There’s air conditioning, which is pretty powerful, but does occasionally cut out. The rooms do have good screen doors to prevent bugs from entering. The view from the room is beautiful, making the journey up the stairs worthwhile. Marko and his family are really lovely and happy to give advice and help booking taxis etc. Although only Marko speaks English well, everyone was really helpful and made us feel welcome. It’s really close to Podgorica. We got a taxi here from the airport (around 25 EUR, make sure to negotiate), and being on the lake within an hour of landing was a really great start to the holiday. There’s nice birds on the lake. You can rent a good quality kayak directly from the place for EUR an hour. It’s really worth doing, especially around sunset when it’s a bit cooler. The views on the lake, which is generally empty, are incredible. You can just jump off the little terrace and swim, which is great to cool down while having a drink on the terrace. While we there, the card machine wasn't working, so make sure to bring enough cash as it's very remote (for two nights stay, two dinners & breakfasts + coffee, drinks, kayaking, we paid around 250 EUR).

Absolutley worth to stay there! We had such a great time there! If you are looking for nature and a quit place, go there. The apartement is new and very clean. Bed very comfortable. They are very kind and helpful. I think we enjoyed the best dinner in montenegro there :) We will come back

Great place and nice people!

Ljubica. Mirko and their family are very kind people! They help us to find a car. When you arrive in the karuc little village, they come to catch you with their boat En then you arrive at the paradise just on the border of the river lake skadar. The view is gorgeous. We did 2 hours kayac and this was really fantastic to be so in contact with nature. Thank you so much! Caroline and Lola

excellent place. transfer by boat to the house in the middle of the nature and the lake, Good breakfast with fruits. Excellent fish meal. Nice view from the balcony. Boat trip and kayak trip. Excellent peoples. I strongly recommend!

Overall the stay was exceptional. From the staff, to the food, to the view.

One of the things I liked the most was waking up in the morning to a beautiful sunrise and having coffee on the deck by the lake. Also when the owner took us on a boat trip around the lake the nature itself and the trip was phenomenal. The staff were beyond generous and the food is to die for. Definitely recommend coming here to just get away from the everyday normal life/traffic to enjoy some peace and quite.

Endroit idyllique au bord du lac skaddar

L emplacement au bord du lac est parfait, on s y rend en bateau (donc prévoir un petit sac à emporter, on laisse la voiture dans le village de karuc). L endroit est idyllique, calme! On peut louer un canoë et partir 1h sur le lac. Sonia qui nous reçoit est adorable, son mari aussi (c'est lui qui vient nous chercher dans le petit port). Elle propose un menu, on a mangé du poisson pêché dans le lac par son mari, excellent! La chambre est petite mais confortable avec vue sur le lac! Un endroit tellement paisible! Quel bon moment! Merci à Sonia et son mari.

Ruhe und Entspannung pur, ganz abseits vom Touristentrubel.

Ich wäre gerne auch länger geblieben. Die Lage am See ist fantastisch ruhig und entspannend. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber Sonja und Vesko die sich sehr um ihre Gäste kümmern. Zu Abend gab es frisch gefangenen Fisch . Einfach lecker. Die Unterkunft war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet inkl Klima. Liebe Sonja und Lieber Vesko. Es war ein Erlebnis bei euch zu Gast sein zu dürfen.🙂

Незабываемый отдых

Это был замечательный отдых. Место действительно соответствует своему названию" Малый рай". Там есть всё, и рыбалка и отдых и купание в озере. Очень добродушные хозяева. Вкусная еда, особенно маринованный карп . Мы чувствовали себя ,как на даче у бабушки с дедушкой. Наш ребёнок готов был остаться там жить и уезжал со слезами на глазах. Обязательно приедем сюда ещё. Спасибо .

מיקום מטורף. נסיע לכפר פצפון ומשם מגיעים לקחת אתכם בסירה. הבית שלהם על הערוץ של האגם. אפשר כמובן להתרחץ. וסקו דייג וסוניה מכינה דגים לארוחות. אנחנו גם יצאנו עם וסקו לשייט של שעתיים באגם. שניהם לא יודעים מילה אנגלית.

החדר פצפון ממש. חשוב להביא חומר נגד יתושים ללילה. על כל דבר משלמים.. אין תחושה של פינוק או נדיבות.

Une retraite au vert et au frais

Une maison sur l'eau pour se ressourcer au coeur du Monténégro. Les hôtes vous accueillent chaleureusement au coeur de cette maison qu'ils ont construits eux-mêmes. L'arrivée en bateau est magique. Vous pouvez vous restaurer directement sur place avec des plats locaux à base de poissons frais pêchés le matin même par les hôtes. Profitez également de la terrasse flottante pour piquer une tête dans l'eau ou simplement vous reposer au soleil. Je recommande vivement

La nourriture sur place est un petit peu chère mais ce sont uniquement des plats faits maison. L'unique moyen de déplacement est le bateau. Prévoyez donc vos déplacements en conséquences car vous dépendez de l'hôte pour retourner sur la berge.

Un lloc màgic i més ara que no està massificat. Un petit oasis en mig del llac Skadar. Una gran i satisfactòria experiència. Els que ho regenten, una parella gran, son molt simpàtics, agradables i propers, i et fan sentir com a casa.

Eine tolle Erfahrung: wunderschöner Aufenthalt mitten in der Natur, rührende Gastfreundlichkeit unserer Gastgeber, tolles Frühstück und frisch zubereitetes Essen mit frisch gefangenem Fisch, Paddeln mit Kajak und Ausflug mit dem Boot mitten in dem Naturpark am See, Gespräche mit den Gasgebern Sonja und Vesko, Sammeln der Fischernetzte am frühen morgen... Vielen herzlichen Dank an die Gastgeber Sonja und Vesko! Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen! Hvala puno i sve najbolje!
