Avery pleasant stay, impressed with it all and would definitely book again

It could have been lit up a bit better at car park area. Did feel a little strange not having any cover on window as with small children we needed to keep some sort of light on and that meant someone could look in but tbh it was so quiet with people not around except one other couple except all of us

From the moment we opened the door to the pod we felt relaxed. The little touches in the pod such as milk, marshmallows tea bags etc were amazing. We will definitely be back!

Outrageous Behaviour of the Host

Power shower Bed

Absolutely outrageous phone call and message from the host over a missed email and £25 surplus for my dog. I had from the start informed I was travelling with my dog. I emailed in advance to advise the same. I didn't give it a second thought. As I was travelling for business as I outlined in my booking. I arrived at the site around 6 pm. In the photos when I booked I could see they had a microwave in the kitchenette. So as I was driving all day I stopped off to get food that just needed to be requested, as I didn't purchase any of the add ons from the host for food. When I arrived there was no microwave, however, I clearly saw the place it was and the pig with the label on it. Not a massive deal, went back out and bought a take away. I got back to the unit and for work I'm a content creator. I went live at 7pm. At 7.45pm I had a call from the host. Couldn't answer it. 7.46pm another call. Couldn't answer it. 7.47pm another call. Eventually I had to answer as it was clear this person would just continue. Meanwhile I'm on a live Tik ToK . The host said, I see you brought your dog in a time that came across as tho I was trying to sneak my dog in. Told me I had ignored the emails about the extra amount charge. I was extremely taken back by this aggressive phone call. Explained it had no problem with the charge. This absolutely changed the whole stay for me. The fact that you continued to call me until I answered that call is absolutely mind blowing. I travel the island with work, have stayed in a plethora of premises and never have I ever been made to feel so unwelcome. To add insult to injury, you also left me two voice mails which I only picked up 24 hours later. Probably the same way I didn't see the emails, I'm a busy person. However, you said in your first voicemail, I see you brought a large dog with you ( my dog's weight is classified as a medium dog btw) , if you don't pay the surcharge £25 you will have to leave.

Perfect break away

Had a wonderful stay, the pod was immaculate and we couldn't believe how much you could actually fit into that space. The owners have thought of everything, including the privacy with the glass and lighting. Will definitely be back thankyou.

Wish they were more private with a hot tub each . Place was swarming with wasps so didn't get to enjoy our stay 🐝😭lane to it was awful to .

Comfortable stay with a few niggles

Well packaged facilities in one pod, dog friendly, lots of wildlife around. Small fridge is useful. Very clean inside

Only one bin and it was overflowing, dog surcharge is expensive compared to other places we stayed, food waste left in fire pit by previous guests meant there were lots of wasps so we couldn’t really open the pod door to cool it down. Extra pillows did not have covers. Only toaster and kettle.

Excellent stay in the heart of Co Down.

The pod was excellent. Warm, comfortable and quite luxurious. Very exciting for young children with plenty of space for them to play outside. The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. Would recommend a stay here very much.

Good stay

Very clean, really cool spaces! My toddler loved the bunk bed and the staff were lovely and very helpful when we needed bedding for our wee one. The hot tub really made the stay, absolutely brilliant hot tub, so glad we booked it.

The pods were great but I reckon they would benefit from an outdoor covered area so that if you come as a group, you have somewhere to spend time together if weather was not on our side! For example we eat our dinner on the patio seats until it got too wet! The hot tub saved the day as it meant we had a covered area to spend time together. Even if it was better weather, the covered area would be good for keeping in the shade so you can eat outside rain or shine. Some different info on Booking.com and company website too, such it said £30 extra charge for dog but we were charged £35. There was an extra charge for the hot tub on top of the £199 per night which is on the expensive side for where the location.

Location is good ( if you're not into endless coastal retreats then this is for you ). The site is peaceful and tranquil with plenty of bird song . Plenty of woodland a d a few fields to explore

Price is a little steep for the facilities. No indoor cooking facilities. BBQ (if you don't bring your own) is £15 . No curtains , so if you don't like eye masks( they are provided ) you'll be up early i.e sunrise
