Balcón Giralda Center & Sweet

Location: couldn’t be better for our 4-nights in Seville. 20 meters to the Cathedral, on a very lively pedestrian street. Nice apartment: good size, very clean, high-ceiling, marble-tile floors, separate living room and bedroom, well-equipped kitchen. Street noise wasn’t a problem. Even with Seville temperatures in the 95+ degrees the apartment was cool - we barely turned on the 3 separate AC units (all working well). No elevator, though no problem for us walking up one floor. Value: great value, compared to similar properties. We’ll definitely stay there on our next trip to this beautiful city.

Strange that such a good apartment didn’t have any of the basic consumables, like coffee (there’s a Krups machine), tea or a bottle of water. I’ve never seen this in any hotel or apartment I stayed. Communication with owners including check-in/out was via WhatsApp. We had no problems, but I can understand the frustration of other reviewers who arrived without direct communication and couldn’t get in. We could have used better guidance from owners, driving straight to our parking garage instead of driving by the apartment first to drop our luggage. We used the Mercado de Arenal garage (10 min walk), which we recommend.

We loved being in the centre of Old Town.

We would have loved to have a few coffee pods to start our morning.

Definitely one of the best apartments I've ever stayed in, very clean, spacious, comfy, and right at the heart of the historic district. The balcony gives you views and the sounds from the street below, but the bedroom is actually tucked away behind a door at the back end of the place, which means it's dark and quiet, perfect to sleep well. So you can enjoy chilling in the living room with the balcony and windows open next to the bustling street below, or you can go to your dark quiet cave to sleep -- just perfect. And you cannot be closer to the historic center.
