Number 27, Swanpool

Perfect compact property, excellently stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed (on the soft side). Very well thought out rooms. Warm, light-filled. Great location for both the town (there is a hill but it is not torturous!) and Swanpool beach- within easy walking distance. Peaceful location - surprisingly no noise despite being in a built-up area. Very much appreciated the coffee available and items like the Tupperware boxes and so many family games!

As mentioned by other reviewers- and having chatted with a friendly neighbour, one needs to be mindful not to park right outside the front door (opposite it) as this restricts access to the neighbours’ properties. parking on the corner very close by works, except for Thursday as that is when the rubbish is collected, so best to park elsewhere then. There are spaces available on the road close by, just need to be mindful of neighbour access as the road is made narrow due to the number of cars parked along it. But in no way would this stop us staying here again as it is a little gem of a place.

House was well maintained, neat and clean. Sam was responsive and quick. Shower gel was missing and around 10 PM I just messaged him and he made it deliver with in 15 mins with some cookies :)

The location is perfect. We walked from the apartment to Swanpool beach the first evening. Easy flat stroll. And the next day we walked from there to Falmouth via the coast path. Quicker than driving and parking for the town and beaches. Easy to park nearby (garage not in use). Fully equipped kitchen for cooking proper meals. Freezer too (good for our ice packs!). Very good communication with the owner. Lovely shower. Comfortable bed. It would be a cosy place in the winter I think. Very modern. As shown in the photos.

The property was very clean, modern, and recently decorated.

When we arrived we found the main sofa in the lounge was badly damaged and unusable, probably due to children from a previous renter jumping on it. I called the owner and he came round in 5 minutes - looked at the problem, tried to fix it temporarily and arranged for a carpenter to call round the following morning to carry out repairs. Parking our two cars was a problem, there was no garage available (not that we expected one) and the claimed unreserved parking spaces by the side of the building had to be competed for with other visitors and residents. The house is located on the edge of a large, high density housing estate. A footpath at the back of the property is convenient for the beach, but entry into the estate by car is through a circuitous route littered with sleeping policemen. This makes entry and exit a bit of a chore.
