The Condo is centrally located in the complex and hosts unobstructed ocean and golf views from the living room, lanai, & Master Bedroom. It is a top floor, single story unit with large folding Mahogany doors that open to the lanai. Sunsets are phenomenal and whales active November-April.

This is a lovely property situated in a gated resort area. The photos are all accurate. The thing that sets this place apart is how well the condo is stocked with everything you need. There are every day spices in the cabinet, a Tupperware full of various l cups for coffee/tea and so on. That way when you arrive after your long travels you have everything you need to start off your stay. There is also boogie boards, beach chairs/umbrella and snorkeling gear in the closet if you want to hit the beach. Nearby is a pool with a restaurant that has nightly entertainment and really great food. There are workout facilities, tennis courts etc etc.The host is very excellent to work with! She communicated well but did not overload with information. This was a great place to stay for my family and many lifetime memories were created!

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the best-appointed homes we have ever stayed. We appreciated all of the fine touches and personalization - great kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and great beach gear, made it a completely worry-free stay. The grounds were gorgeous, the complex pool and restaurant was a relaxing and convenient bonus. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back!

The property is truly amazing. The views from the back patio are breath taking. The King size main bedroom was perfect and that ensuite was everything that was needed and more from the large tub to the walk in shower. The Second bedroom with its 2 beds would be perfect for any family. Although, the second bathroom isn't "Attached" it was right next to the second bedroom. The kitchen had EVERYTHING that you could need from blenders, to cookware to insulated cups. Everything that we used, worked perfectly. It was Hawaii so we went out for most meals. There was a perfectly sized grill on the outside patio if one decided to grill at home. The celing fans and A/C made the room perfect for sleeping at night and kept everything at a great temp through the day. You did have the option to open the front door and the windows (all with screens) and let a great ocean breeze rush through the unit. The double doors opening to the balcony made for a great walkway and open space to the back of the unit. When I say the unit is stocked, I am under selling it. There were so many towels, beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel sets, tennis rackets and balls, insulated coolers, beach bags, yoga mats, board games and more. Christi B has really made this unit stand out. A small putting green is right out in the front along with a basketball court and tennis courts. The Ocean Club and Pool were both stunning. Ocean views, heated pool and 2-4 happy hour were big hits. The live music didnt disappoint!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this perfect condo. The location is the perfect setting for enjoying a nice breakfast and watching the sunset from the lanai. Christi was so easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. We were greeted with a welcome sign and snacks after our long day of travel. The condo is beautifully furnished with island touches and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make a delicious meal. We’ve stayed at Hali’i Kai over the last 14 years and Christi’s place is our favorite! 10/10 accommodating

Impossible to overstate how well prepared and welcoming this roomy condo and its host is! It’s really a private nook in a larger resort. We’d not been here before but will come again and wouldn’t stay elsewhere. Spot whales while drinking morning coffee. Great view of golf’s most scenic hole here. Very welcoming and responsive host. Much like (a well appointed) home—but absent most of the worries and with 80 degree daily temperatures!

We stayed at Hali i Kai 7a from December 25 thru January 1. Christi gave a warm welcome with a Christmas tree setup and a basket of goodies for us. She was very responsive throughout our stay.The unit has partial oceanview which was expected. Its clean and fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen as well as for laundry and beach equipment and setup. The location is very safe. In fact we rented 4 bikes and we just parked them unlocked in front of the garage with no issues.We would definitely stay here again next time.

The condo and facility are wonderful. The view of the ocean (perfectly framed sunsets) and volcano from the lanai cannot be beat. The condo has everything you could ask for and then some, from kitchen appliances, to beach items, to coolers. The common pool and fitness area (best view ever) are also great. The grounds of the complex are also perfectly manicured. Finally, the owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Not one complaint and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for providing a perfect place for our vacation.

This property is amazingly stocked! From boogie boards to snorkel gear to nice appliances, a full set of dishes and silverware, including sharp knives, along with every cooking utensil or item you could ever need! The property manager knew we were coming in really late and had kids and even stocked some snacks for us! The beds are super comfortable, the couch is comfortable, and the unit appears basically brand new! communication with the owner was very easy. This complex is our favorite one to stay at in Waikoloa, we will definitely be coming back! Couldn’t recommend it more!

We have stayed in the Hali'i Kai complex a number of times but this was our first time renting from Christi. The condo is exactly as advertised if not better. Terrific views of the ocean, golf course and sunset from the spacious lanai. The gas grill works great as we prefer to eat dinner in rather than go out, we used the grill 3 times during our week stay. The condo is better equipped than most rental units we have seen, everything you need for cooking and serving a full meal. The beds are high quality and the master has a large TV as does the living room. Because it is a 2nd floor corner unit, the condo has great air flow, should you choose to not use AC full time, as it isn't necessary. Building 7 is across the road from the tennis courts and a short walk to the Ocean Club pool, bar and restaurant. Christi is great to deal with, quickly responding to messages before and during our stay.

Condo was great had all the amenity’s and Supply’s needed for a great vacation. Great views to Whale Watch and views of the golf course. Kitchen is well stocked with condiments, pantry had plenty of supplies that I assume other quests had left that we not opened and still in date. Christ the host was quick and responsive with any needs which was very nice. Had very small situation with guest bath getting clogged but was addressed within a couple hrs👍 Overall great place will be back and highly recommend!! ALOHA

This property seemed almost new. Appliances, furniture, bedding, were excellent. Even though you were not right on the water you had a nice view of the ocean. This time of year whales were seen daily. The condo has all you need for cooking and eating in. They have a well stocked closet for beaching. Chairs, umbrellas, and snorkel equipment. There is a what is called the Ocean Club. This is where the pool, exercise room, and restaurant were. It was a first class set up. The restaurant was very good. No more expensive than going off property. The staff at the Ocean Club were also excellent. Very friendly and helpful. You could stay at Hali Kai your whole vacation and have a wonderful time. There is a $25 dollar daily fee for the club. Great vacation. Wish we could have stayed much longer.

Property was well maintained and provided access to full complement of beach, boarding, snorkeling and activity equipment. Access to staples (paper products) and towels were plentiful. The condo was situated in a gated community….the unit itself was 10 mins walk from the pool and beach club. It was well stocked with non-perishables and I particularly enjoyed the bbq. Kitchen was fun with the barstools and the view overlooking the golf course, the volcano and the ocean was amazing for breakfast coffee. They also had all equipment for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear…even boogie boards). Host was super communicative in advance of our arrival. The only cautionary note I would offer (which has nothing to do with the hosts) is that the pool is not really welcoming to young kids or teens….they discourage “boisterous play” and we were scolded for throwing a ball around. It’s more suited for older adults that simply want peace and quiet and want to lie by the pool - we saw whales and the outdoor gym is so cool. My 10-year old claims it’s the best pool she’s ever frolicked in. I really recommend this place. Great memories were made!

Just got back from an 10 day trip, 7 of which were spent at Christi's condo. The place was exceptional -- it is even nicer than the photos show! It is in a great location in Waikoloa resort and Haili Kai is lovely and quiet. The view from the lanai was an an amazing way to start each morning. The pool complex -- a large part of why we chose this place -- was simply beautiful and a great place to watch sunsets, although we didn't end up spending much time there because we so busy everyday exploring the island. I can't stress how well outfitted the place is, particularly the kitchen and activities closet. The activities closet had everything we needed -- beach towels, snorekeling equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen was stocked with high end items, and drawers and cabinets were so well labeled! Christi was very responsive to the couple questions we had.

We loved our week here and woke up every morning looking forward to having our coffee and enjoying the breathtaking view of the golf course and ocean! It was incredibly well stocked! The inconvenience we had was that the rules for the pool were extremely strict and they wouldn’t let anyone bring in any drinks (including water), or even allow our daughters to gently pass a soft ball back and forth. Just to note, there is a $25 daily resort fee you have to pay when you arrive. Not the hosts fault at all, the rules and regulations are set by the pool management.

Beautiful condo I would highly recommend. Fully stocked kitchen, super comfy beds and pillows, well stocked bathrooms with lots of towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner. Really appreciated the amazing closet with all the beach goodies we needed: super nice beach towels, snorkel gear, coolers, beach chairs. Hali'i Kai resort is gorgeous and views of the ocean from the lanai were amazing. So wonderful to eat our meals outside and enjoy the sunset. The pool seemed more geared towards small children but that's ok, we spent our days at the beach. Would definitely go back!

We enjoyed our stay in this well stocked, clean and updated home. The activities closet was stuffed with beach chairs, snorkel sets, coolers, toys, etc. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked as well; although there was no shampoo or shower gel, a little surprising since the rest of the house was filled to the brim with supplies. Maybe housekeeping forgot to stock the showers? We had our own so no big deal for us. The view from the lanai was very beautiful and the community was also well cared for and so pretty. The beds were comfy and towels and linens were great too. Communication with Christi was prompt. My only "annoyance" with the rental was that entrance to the community pool and private club restaurant was not included in our weekly cost; it was an extra $20 per day. While I appreciate that we saved that money (we didn't end up paying), I also feel like we missed out. I guess, personally for us, we'd rather have the resort fee and amenities included in the rental cost and then feel free to use those amenities whenever we wanted. We always seemed to think of using the pool at the end of the day and then didn't want to pay $20 for an hour. I know it's trivial, but that's how it ended up feeling for us. We should have paid the resort fees for the whole week up front, but we got in late after the welcome center was closed and forgot to go the next morning. Regardless, we would definitely return to this condo and recommend it to others.

This property indeed should receive all the great reviews it has...absolutely well deserved...but on top of this, the view was that much better than described in the listing. I must have overlooked this. For whatever reason before arrival I did not anticipate such an expansive view of the ocean but it is indeed a full on view of the ocean. It's wonderful to sit outside off the living room (on the terrace where the table and barbecue are) and see the ocean full on, as you can as well from the master bedroom. This was quite unique and so appreciated!

If we could give this 5+ stars we would. The check in process was a breeze and we were very impressed with the accomodations. Plenty of beach gear, and a fully stocked kitchen (plates, pans, knives etc) If you have stayed at places before you know those sometimes can be a bit sparse. Everything in the unit was well appointed and easy to use. Close to the King and Queen shops for restaurants and shopping too. Communication with the host was easy and she was extremely responsive and helpful. The pool was solid but we spent most of our time running around the island. We highly recommend and will be back

Incredible condo in magicial Hali i Kai

We stayed at Hali i Kai in August at a different (also amazing) condo. That unit was booked this trip, so we chose this unit and were nervous we wouldn't love it as much as the other one. We couldn't have been more wrong. The unit is gorgeous - beautifully decorated and fully stocked - the owners really thought of everything from a vast array of kitchen items and tools (they even had an air fryer) to everything you need for exploring the island (beach chairs, snorkels, beach towels and mats, tennis rackets, a basketball, a cooler - if you needed it for a day out, it was there!). All items were labelled and clearly organized - I was blown away - I've stayed in many VRBOs over the years and this was best stocked one to date. I was also impressed by the welcome - I won't spoil by telling you the details but walking into the condo for the first time helped set the tone for our incredible vacation. If you are unfamiliar with Hali i Kai, I cannot recommend this property highly enough. The ocean club, where the pool, restaurant, bar and fitness club are located, is unsurpassed. Watching the sunset from the hot tub while sipping a coconut mai tai....having delicious pork nachos or red curry for dinner....meeting the exceptionally friendly and competent staff and chatting with them daily...meeting the other friendly guests in the pool for happy hour - all of it is beyond magical. We are officially in love with the Big Island and will always stay at this property. Our last unit was a bit closer to the pool and on the first floor, so you could walk from the lanai directly to the pool. This unit was on the second floor and a little further away but the views were breathtaking and the unit felt more roomy. Both owners/property managers provided different but special welcomes - both were very communicative and helpful. I truly loved both but would probably choose this one again to have more space for my growing teens. Stop looking now and just book this unit. I promise you will NOT be disappointed.
