Leopoldo Rooms

The room was pretty and spacious. The bathroom was clean und modern.

The elevator is a bit old but it was fine!!

Everything. The photos are exactly as they look, the location is first class. Walking distance to train station, bus stops round corner, minutes from all the action of the town. We loved this. The host was fantastic. Just can’t fault this place.

Nothing an amazing property.

Very easy access to everywhere walking. Clean and very comfortable bed.

The room was spotlessly clean. A choice of pillows! and a truly comfortable mattress. My bathroom had a skylight which I enjoyed, and the shower had great pressure. The balcony was sufficiently large and the view was gorgeous. Very private which was nice. My clothes dried on my portable clothesline out there. Sunrise every morning through French doors. Leopoldo Rooms is perfectly situated so that you aren’t in the middle of other tourists, but easily close enough to walk to the Castello district etc (my group was aged 81, 73 and 70). A short walk to the bus to Poetto Beach, just a 15 minute ride. There’s a coffee and cake cafe across the street on the right (coming out of the front door) which I recommend, and if you continue walking up this street, away from the sea, you will first find a shop which sells quiche slices and other picnic foods. 300 metres further along there is an excellent supermarket/delicatessen which stocks fresh fruit, sandwiches, salads etc. Across the road a very interesting eclectic vintage shop. Leopoldo is an excellent host and has a beautiful cacti collection on the balconies. I have no criticisms of the property, so don’t be put off by the outside appearance of the building.
