Very enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere with an excellent host

The breakfast was nice and continental options where very good. Eamon was a very nice man who went over and above to tell us where to go in Galway for a good night and was very happy to have a good conversation with us. A Gentleman.

Good location, new mattress needed!

Friendly host was laid back and fun. The location was easily walkable to the central downtown area. Breakfast was nice the first morning.

Great location, nice facilities & breakfast and a very friendly & helpful manager.

The pillows were a bit lumpy and the front door could do with a lick of paint but both of these are easy fixes!

Unfortunately wouldn’t stay here again due to mould in room 1.

Very easy check in and communicative host. Early check in time and good check out time. Room and bed were good. Breakfast was self service from the fridge which was ok. Location was also good; a very short drive from the city centre.

See pictures. I stayed in room 1 which has mould issues. Bathroom ceiling is full of mould. There’s also mould on the side of the window and blinds in the room. I avoided the bathroom as much as possible and didn’t shower because of it. I have been really sick through mould exposure in my past, so to see this was very unpleasant and resulted in a not comfortable stay, despite the room being good otherwise. Walls were also so thin that I could hear everything, including the neighbours phone vibrating whenever he was getting messages.

Host is extremely friendly and accommodating. Although the building and rooms aren't the nicest, it is made up for by how hard they are trying. There seems to only be two rooms, and we were the only guests at the time, so we felt very welcome. Good linens, decent bed and bathroom.

The building is clearly not designed to accommodate guests; it's definitely below-average quality for other B&Bs in the same area and price point. It's musty and not well-designed nor furnished.

Great location in Galway

The property is in a great location not too far from Eyre Square less than a 10 minute walk. The accommodation was lovely exactly what it says, owner was lovely and any questions asked was able to answer. The room was spacious and en-suite was good as well. I would definitely stay here again. 😊😊

rude staff on the phone - employee rang me asking for a specific time I was arriving which i did not know - he said he needed to know because “a cleaner is here waiting”, what does this even mean? why is a cleaner waiting for me anyway, the cleaning should have been done as soon as the previous guest left. the so called “continental breakfast” is just cereal. €153 for this per night

Tiny room, the private bathroom was a toilet and tiny sink next to the entry door with out a lock 🔒 r latch on the door. They said it was being repaired, but the whole place was well below what I expected, I cancelled the next day , walked out and went elsewhere. They were nice enough to refund the second night. I’d rather sleep in a hostel.

I didn't know until I arrived that my single room didn't come with a shower, and that led to slight issues for me, I probably would've taken a different room if I had known...
