About this villa rental
Live like a local in the heart of DC`s vibrant Shaw neighborhood!
This completely renovated turn of the century rowhome offers high speed WiFi, a workspace, private deck, fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, and full-size washer and dryer.
There are three bedrooms: one has a king bed and two have queen beds. Two bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, with a third full bathroom in the hall directly across from the other bedroom.
This gorgeous rowhome was built in 1900 and has been completely renovated to include all the comforts of modern living.
The main level boasts a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, a private deck, a large, open living and dining area, a light and bright workspace, full-size washer and dryer, and a half bathroom.
Upstairs you`ll find three spacious bedrooms, two with en suite bathrooms, and a third full bathroom.
I live in the lower level unit (completely separate, with its own entrance), should you need anything at all during your stay. You might see me walking in, but will give you your space with a nice hello!
Stroll down tree-lined streets to one of the many nearby coffee shops, eateries, or watering holes.
There are two nearby Metro stops: Shaw-Howard U (Green and Yellow Lines) is two blocks away and NoMa-Galludet U (Red Line) is four blocks away.
There is also a bus stop in the same block and a Capital Bikeshare station in the next block.
Fireplaces are decorative only.
House Rules:
• Guests located within a 50-mile radius of Washington, D.C. require pre-approval before booking. Reservation made without pre-approval will be subject to cancellation per guest`s Cancellation Policy.
• Guest must complete pre-arrival ID verification including damage protection selection via our digital guest portal
• No parties, pre-games, or events. Visitors are limited to one to two close friends or family members.
• DC Noise Ordinance: Quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday to Sunday. It`s the law!
• Speakers are prohibited from being used to play loud music at any time, including outdoors.
• Shoes are not permitted inside the house.
• Indoor smoking is prohibited; a fine of $300 per night will be imposed.
• Additional overnight guests beyond the reservation will incur a fee of $30 per person per night.
• Unauthorized late checkouts past 11:00 AM will incur a fee of $100 per extra hour to cover the cost of cleaning delay.
• Any mess left behind that requires a deep cleaning will result in a fee of $200 to cover the cost of additional cleaning.

The house looks exactly how it looks in the listing. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was coffee, tea with the necessary accoutrements. A bathroom for each of the 3 bedrooms and a fourth in the hall off the dining room. The hosts are SUPER responsive and even set up parking for us ahead of our stay. The location is terrific with short walk to Florida Ave where you can find a coffee shop and a few restaurants and I was able to quickly order groceries a couple of times during my stay. Really great experience.

The location was perfect. Parking very accessible (within 1 block). The accommodations perfectly matched what was in the pictures. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with the basic amenities (pots, pans, mugs glasses, utensils, coffee, tea, sweeteners, paper towels, etc.). Nice washer and dryer in the home. 3BR and 3 Baths and great living space with a variety of games to play. It was perfect for my family. Everyone had a spot and we all could gather together too!

While the location was excellent the house was lacking. Broken tiles and door handles, lightbulbs out and very large insects (cockroaches). Nicer furniture and some attention to detail would vastly improve this property. For the same price we have experienced much better value at other properties.
