Three unforgettable nights in absolute serenity. Couldn’t have been better !

It was just amazing. The lodge itself, the interior, the hot tub and the view! Absolutely stunning.

If you’re traveling with 3 people it is quite small but we didn’t mind at all. It’s cozy.

Relaxing, quiet, cozy, charming, like being in a welcoming cocoon!

Everything! It is charming and small. Owners were lovely to have some local goodies in the little fridge and pink carnations to welcome me. Made me feel very welcomed. Beautiful deck with a clean hot tub and beautifully crafted lounging chairs. Very special spot with attention to details. Good for one person or two little people who don’t have much luggage and like bumping up to each other. It’s truly a magical, wee spot! So happy I found it!

I couldn’t really open the small closet because the couch was blocking one end. I improvised and it was fine.

Luxury with a view

Beautiful and private lodge with amazing views over Stromness bay. Amazing welcome pack and well enough equipped for the size of the lodge. Hot tub was great. Balcony was ample for the 2 of us and allowed enough privacy from the other lodges as well as surrounding properties Short walk down into Stromness for shops and a great base to explore Orkney mainland.

Beautiful accommodation on a beautiful island.

The lodge was amazing! we loved everything about this place. Morning coffee looking over the water and evenings in the hot tub. And the location was superb with the heart of Stromness in easy walking distance but high enough to have the views. And Neolithic Orkney is only a short drive away. The lodge itself had everything we needed, was clean and beautifully decorated, with local pottery to tempt you into exploring some of the local craft trail. Can’t fault this place at all. Pricier than we’d normally go but we’ll worth it!

I stayed here to relax. It was perfect.

The cheese, butter, fudge and bread waiting on arrival were a nice touch. Also enjoyed the spa pool. Bed comfortable. Quiet spot. Lovely view of sunset in the morning.

The only not improvement I would make would be to have more places to hang the towels to dry after a swim! I was well supplied with enough towels for shower and spa pool, but it was hard to dry them - didn’t want to leave them to dry outside as the wind might have carried them off!

Truly phenomenal! The attention to detail is amazing and honestly one of the best places we have ever stayed. We will be sure to book again. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the hot tub was great after a busy day exploring. Great location with parking on site.

Everything is Amazing!

Everything was perfect-clean, comfy and thoughtful. The Hit tub was great and the owners have thought of everything! We will be back!

There is nothing we didn’t like. A full length mirror would be useful but easily survivable without.

Everything has been so beautifully decorated and well thought out. Jacuzzi is amazing and we loved our experience tremendously!
