Best host and accommodation, highly recommended.

The accommodation was modern and clean. The host was extreamly helpful she provided us with a lot of information about the local tourist spots and best location for lunch and delicious ice cream. For breakfast Mariapia baked us delicious focaccia and cakes. She offerd to take us to the station with her car and also gave us a number for a taxi moreover she gave us a free tourist card with wich we could take the bus for free. She has a friendly dog and lovely cat. We would love to go back again and we recommend Calicantus to anybody who want to stay around near the area and have delicious home made breakfast.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. The only thing i would like to mention, is that on foot it was a little bit far away from the train station.

lovely stay in a beautiful room, with a private bathroom. very clean and good location. Maria even picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. she was very kind and went out of her way to make sure I had a good stay. she gave me restaurant recommendations, maps and taxi numbers! there was a delicious home made breakfast with an amazing cappuccino!

Mariapia is a fantastic warm-hearted host and very knowledgeable of Albenga. Always friendly and helpful in several languages (English, German, ...). The homemade breakfast with local ingredients was delicious. The rooms, all with their own bathroom, were perfect. Thank you Mariapia for your hospitality. I really felt very welcome during my stay.

Quiet and personal stay

Very friendly owner (and curious dog) to have interesting conversations with. Typically sweet and rich Italian breakfast (mostly homemade). Excellent shower. Location is quiet (and a bit difficult to find first time) despite near the main road. And Albenga itself is very interesting.

L'emplacement n'est pas dans un beau quartier mais l'accès et le stationnement sont très facile et le centre de Albenga est proche. Les conseils reçus pour visiter et se restaurer nous ont été très utiles

La habitación estaba limpia, cama cómoda y la anfitriona muy agradable y atenta. También es una ventaja el poder aparcar a la puerta.

La ubicación es espantosa, detrás de una gasolinera, en un callejón de un polígono a las afueras de la ciudad. Fue un poco deprimente al llegar. Luego la amabilidad de la anfitriona lo hizo algo más agradable.

GIORNATA AD ALBENGA.

La posizione in una zona silenziosa, siamo stati accolti dalla proprietaria, gentilissima e disponibile a suggerimenti su dive andare e cosa vedere. La location immersa nel verde e non distante dal centro e dai locali sil mare. La mattina abbiamo fatto colazione in giardino. Ci sono stati serviti dolci fatti in casa molto buoni, focaccia ligure con affettati. Penso che ci ritornerò. Grazie ancora di tutto.

L'unica cosa devo dire la mancanza di aria condizionata nella camera. La giornata era ventilata, e il caldo non si sentiva molto, ma in giornate molto calde la storia sarebbe diversa. La proprietaria ha confermato che presto verranno installati.

Maria Pia est une hôte extraordinaire, d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité touchantes. Elle a un véritable sens de l’accueil, on se sent immédiatement comme chez soi. Le petit-déjeuner qu'elle prépare est un moment inoubliable : elle m’a fait goûter sa focaccia maison et des pasticcini, tout simplement délicieux. Un vrai régal qui reflète l’amour et le soin qu’elle met dans tout ce qu’elle fait. Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare al B&B Il Calicantus e ne sono rimasto incantato. Sin dal primo momento, questo luogo trasmette serenità: un grazioso giardino si apre davanti alla struttura, curato e fiorito, perfetto per rilassarsi e godersi un momento di quiete. 👱La proprietaria è una persona speciale, squisita, gentile e accogliente, capace di mettere immediatamente gli ospiti a proprio agio. Ti accoglie con un sorriso sincero e ti fa sentire come a casa, con quella cordialità autentica che rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. supercomodo.. ampio parcheggio privato ci ha offerto l'uso delle biciclette colazione sotto ad un gazebo in un grande e bel giardino acqua gasata e naturale fredda sempre disponibile la titolare, molto simpatica, ha fatto di tutto per aiutarci e farci sentire a nostro agio.

Una piacevole sorpresa

La gentilezza e la disponibilità di Mariapia (la proprietaria del B&B) sono sicuramente le due caratteristiche che più hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto piacevole. Consigli su dove mangiare e su che cosa fare la sera ad Albenga, la possibilità di utilizzare le biciclette per raggiungere il centro, la squisita colazione preparata in casa, gustata insieme ad altri ospiti tra piacevoli chiacchiere, la pulizia della stanza, l’ottima e fresca posizione, la simpatica cagnolona Gemma… tutti ingredienti per una vacanza perfetta! Sicuramente ci torneremo!

Per qualche giorno va più che bene

Struttura in posizione ottima per raggiungere il punto di mio interesse. Proprietaria gentilissima e super disponibile sia al check in che la mattina dopo a colazione, momento in cui siamo riusciti anche a scambiare due parole. Nella struttura c'era tutto e per stare qualche giorno va più che bene.

Rapporto qualità prezzo un po' alto La cosa che mi è piaciuta di meno però è stata la pulizia della stanza, un po' troppo approssimativa, niente di irrecuperabile, ma sulla pulizia sono intransigente.

Location con un bel giardino, cani accolti con amore, Mariapia super e colazione emozionante.

È stato tutto molto piacevole anche grazie alla signora Mariapia che ci ha accolto con tantissima gentilezza e ci ha preparato una colazione veramente speciale che ricorderemo. Era tutto buonissimo e fatto con le sue mani. Anche il nostro cane felice. Ci tornerei molto volentieri e consiglio il soggiorno.
