Red Fox great - just remember to turn hot water service on!

We liked the spacious and quiet accommodation.

We didn't get the memo to turn on the hot water (apparently on 2nd floor when showers wete on ground floor), hence had cool showers.

Spacious and restful house on the Ring of Kerry. Best with a car.

This is a house with three separate rooms (and four double beds!), two bathrooms, a kitchen, sitting area, and clothes washing machine, right behind the Red Fox Inn and the Kerry Bog Village. The Kerry Bog Village is cute, but small and doesn't take more than 45 mins to see, even if you read all the plaques. The people were lovely and helpful, it was spacious and in good shape, the beds were comfortable. We were there to walk, and there are some wonderful walks nearby (upland and also to the coast).

Not a critique of the place, but you really should have a car if you come here. We were using train, bus, and taxi, and it was quite a challenge. Also, again not a critique, but be aware that all the big tour busses stop here, so don't be surprised!

Amazing Place to stay

The place was very comfortable and relaxing. We had a wonderful night sleep. Will definitely stay here again. The food and Guinness in the Inn was also delicious. The view out the upstairs window was really nice to wake up to every morning as well!

This is not a negative just a note: when you park you go back behind the inn on the right. The car park is back there.

The direction given by booking.com has led us to a different property. Pls google red fox inn, the red fox chalet is located right behind it.

Red Fox Lodge is next to the Kerry Bog village museum with a great view of the mountains.

The Red Fox lodge is right behind the Red Fox Inn on the main road leading to the Ring of Kerry and near the town of Glenbeigh. One of the selling points was that it was right next to the Inn, unfortunately, we were disappointed to find out the Inn did not serve food, drinks only. It was close to the Towers pub in Glenbeigh that did serve great food. The lodge was as advertised, beds comfortable, and kitchen well equipped. It is a two bathroom home; one bath very well updated; other bath had an open shower, sink, and toliet; interesting layout but useful. Washer and dryer was great! We would definitely stay again.

Comfortable holiday

Very nice spacious house. Comfortable beds,equipped kitchen, good location Close by to all the kerry attractions. Pub and restaurant on your door steps. Big car park, lovely back patio for BBQ, nice quiet at night our dog loved it as well

Great base from which to explore Kerry and West Cork.

The chalet is freshly decorated, clean, warm and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. There is a TV and excellent WIFI. The enclosed back yard was great for my little dog.

😊 I was happy with the accommodation overall. As it's located right on the Ring of Kerry road, there is a lot of traffic so walking is not especially safe. You will need a car to go to the really excellent beach at Glenbeigh, but can walk with care to the nearby Caragh Lake. The adjacent pub serves food until 7pm, which we discovered at 7:05pm on the first evening.

This property was perfect for our family of 6. we just had an amazing weekend in Glenbeigh. The chalet was spotless and extremely comfortable. It has everything you’d need - washing machine, tumbler, 2 showers , microwave, TV. Tim, the owner, was attentive and extremely obliging. I couldn’t recommend this property highly enough. we will be back!

We really enjoyed our short stay in this property. The chalet itself is very clean and comfortable and is a great location to base yourself for travelling around the local area and Kerry. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were! Our host was very helpful with any queries that we had. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Superb

The house was very comfortable and it has almost everything one needs including a washing machine and a dryer. There are two double bedrooms downstairs and upstairs is open plan with two more double beds. The beds although some of the them were on the smaller side they were very comfortable. The two toilets are downstairs one is a wet room with an electric shower and the other has a shower tray.

Counter space is very limited in the kitchen. And I did miss a hair dryer but not a biggy.
