Disappointing

I loved the view and being beside the beach. That was literally the only thing I agreed with.

Could not sit on suite of furniture as it was falling apart. (Aparently its been like that since 2022!....doesnt take much to replace a sofa!)Took bed up and lay in it to look out at view because the bedrooms felt way too small and stuffy. sauna wasn't working and if it was like the owner said.. it done nothing for me. Needs a good clean and paint. Television is only useful if u bring a laptop. Made the most out of my time there but would not go back unfortunately as the area was outstanding around it.

Really great private little spot with terrific view.

View was outstanding and you had it the entire time from dusk till dawn right from the living area. Access to small beach right in front of home. Thoughtful and helpful host. Left kids cereal milk and tea for us. She was very communicative timely and when I needed a sharpener she provided it which was so appreciated. Made some nice memories in this gem of a spot.

Couch was worn out and stuffing coming out of middle seat at the back, though perfect size and style for space. Bathroom was downstairs away from the bedrooms; not a big deal for us but may bother some. Sauna has two heaters not working so took a long time to heat up.

Peaceful, quiet, by the coast, relaxing

Owners contact excellent. Direct contact to virtually a private beach, though it is a public beach. Perfect for both myself and my dog, little to no traffic. Quiet and peaceful. However, when the sun goes down, make sure you have a dongle or USB Ext. HD with any A/V entertainment on it, as there's no TV reception, though has USB slot on a TV from the 'noughties'. WIFI was excellent, no probs with youtube, netflix, etc. on the laptop. Also a hotel with a fair bit of local craic, fed and watered as well, and only a mile or so up the road The ' Boathouse ', was well worth the 7hr drive from Belfast.

Perfect relaxing get away

The view was spectacular! This is the place to book if you want to unwind, away from the city. The house was beachfront very good if you like swimming, great for kids and dogs to play. It was quiet and no neighbours all you can hear is the wave its was so relaxing! The owner was great, she replied straightaway if we need anything sorted. We booked here originally for 3 nights but we extended our stay as we loved how relaxing it was. We will recommend this and will also be back!

The road to the actual house is very small and very hard to manuoever we had to reverse couple of times as it was very tight for a car. The road/lane was also not done which means there were big rocks and uneven, just drive down or up very slowly or your car can get ruined.

A magical spot - we will be back.

Amazing location and stunning views. We sat for hours watching the waves crashing on the shore and then hopped out for a few swims in the brisk January sea. Great dog friendly spot!

Stunning location, peaceful and quiet. The house is very nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms are spacious. There is a shower and a nice bath. The house is pet friendly too. The communication with the host has been perfect. Highly recommend it for couples who wants some time to rest and refuel. We will definitely come back.

Right on the beach, fab view from sitting room, walking distance (15/20min) to village. Kitchen has everything you need. Lovely host & Very relaxing. Great to be able to get up and go for a quick swim every morning or anytime of day, wish I was there right now:)

Not a big deal but would be nice to have more comfortable furniture (couch) in the sitting room to take in the beautiful view. Possibly a small desk and chair for a laptop to give the option of working remotely for a day or two.
