Monica is an excellent host. She has done a fantastic job with her accommodation. She has a very well stocked up fridge.

The location was ideal. A stone’s throw away from Portmagee. The views from our room were magical! Could see one of the Skellig peaks from our room! The room itself was very tastefully decorated and had all the basic amenities.

There was nothing to not like. Would have preferred a shower instead of a bath in the room but everything else was perfect.

Monica was very welcoming and friendly.. It was modern decor, amazing and comfortable bed, fantastic views, nice and warm, everything was new and kept well and spotlessly clean. A nice few surprises in the fridge! There was nothing we wanted for.. Just liked a personalised hotel!

A lovely stay in a lovely place

Our stay at watermark was wonderful. We enjoyed the spectacular views from the floor to ceiling windows. Our hostess was extremely accommodating with a delightful personality. Her knowledge of the area gave us additional places to see and they did not disappoint. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely will defo stay again!

This property is in a lovely location, easy to get to! Lots of parking and the room was so lovely, cosy, clean and just a really nice atmosphere with stunning views. The owner Monica was also so lovely and kind, she provided great advice on where to visit 😍 I would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to return home!

Gorgeous views, huge room, plentiful tea and milk and snacks, friendly host, fab bath. Very close to Portmagee and all the sights of Valentia Island.

Wonderful stay with a beautiful host who knows her local area and was happy to share info.

The property was amazing. Especially the host, Monica. She did everything possible to accommodate us with regards to the weather. The room was very comfortable with an amazing view and even had a few items for breakfast, in the fridge, even though breakfast was not included in the rate. Monica was also extremely helpful as I left a jacket behind. Could ask for nothing more.

My only comment was that the shower was in the bath. It was really just a bath with a hand held hose. It could be an issue for anyone who may find stepping into a deep bath an issue. Just a heads up.

Amazing stay near Skellig Michael

Absolutely everything was amazing. On the page says no breakfast but there was milk, biscuits, fruits, cake, bread, coffee, tea. So clean and view on Skellig Michael. Walking distance to port. Bed so comfortable. You can park the front of the door. Contact with Monica is outstanding- text back so quick. Check in available after stated hours.

What can I say. The view. The location. The host. Everything was amazing. The small touches of lollies, fudge and chocolate won me over. You literally look out over to skellig Michael. We parked our car and walked over the bridge to Portmagee. Monica was fantastic and lovely. Breakfast is set up in the room and even though we had incredible windows with the best views we still felt very private.

Absolutely nothing. Regret we couldn’t stay longer.

The location was perfect and easy to find. The views from the room were great. Everything about our stay here was amazing. The room is updated, modern and clean! The bed was comfortable! The hostess is super sweet and accommodating! She answered any questions we had very quickly. The treats and snacks that were left in our room were also delicious and very thoughtful. Skellig Michael trip

Monica was a wonderful host, very welcoming. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the Harbor in Portmagee. We had a trip to Skellig Michael booked and were able to walk down in the morning for our trip. We would absolutely recommend staying with Monica!

Such an amazing stay! We miss it already. One of the highlights of our 3 weeks in Ireland.

The view!!! The facility is amazing and allows you to fully take it in with enormous picture windows. Monica does a great job with perfect snacks, enough for your own breakfast in a mini fridge. She was so helpful to us as we didn’t have a car, and she arranged for us to get to some further flung places. She took good care of us! Great communication as well.

Pretty view - check which bathroom

Incredible views, nice large king bed, and good breakfast options. The room was spacious and had large beautiful windows that look out onto the fields and water. It was very clean and comfortable. Great halfway pit stop for the night on the Ring of Kerry if you want to take your time.

In the listing, there is a photo of a shower. It turns out there are 2 different spaces in the home, and in the one we had there was a stand alone tub with spray hose, not a shower. This could be an issue for people with mobility issues or if you specifically wanted a shower. We made it work, though.

Fabulous place close to nearby sites made even better by host Monica.

The on-site host Monica was so warm and helpful and the comfortable space was large and cool with giant windows looking out at nice views. The location was really good (we had a car): right across the bridge from Portmagee (Kerry Cliffs a MUST! I liked it way better than OVER-touristed Cliffs of Moher) and other sites on Valentia: Bray Tower.

Minor: We never could figure out how to turn off the bathroom mirror/light over the sink and it was too late to contact Monica. Also, for stand up shower lovers, there's only a bath with a sit-in-tub hand-held shower attachment.

Cozy place with fantastic views

Amazing location, very nice views, you basically have your own entrance and your own little yard with rabbits. Inside you’re welcomed with coffee machine, snacks and sandwiches. Tub in the bath was absolutely fantastic!

I loved the location, the view (both front and back), the decor, the value and the amenities. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The room was tastefully decorated and had so many nice touches. It was comfortable and luxurious.

A true gem of Valentia Island

Everything! Monica was wonderful, warm and welcoming. Beautiful property. Lovely decor, bright and immaculate. Provided bread, fruit, yoghurt, milk, water etc which was brilliant. Location was great. It was truly an amazing stay and we were sad to leave. Thank you Monica!

Comfortable and well equipped

Amazing property! Private and well equipped apartment. Nice host met us and showed us around. Gave us tips on local sites and restaurants. Breakfast and snacks provided which was so nice! Bed was so comfy! Top quality in nice location. Just a short drive from the amazing Kerry cliffs! Lovely!!
