Walking weekend

A superb location for our weekend of walking and exploring. Delicious breakfast and lovely little touches that just showed everything had been really thought out. A lovely comfortable and spotless room for us to relax in, while our soggy walking boots were taken care of by Denise & Tony elsewhere.

Top B&B

This was our third stay at this B&B which speaks volumes! The hosts are helpful and friendly, the B&B has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. The room was lovely, very comfortable and relaxing with the sound of the river running by. It is not just 'clean' it is absolutely immaculate! The breakfast is superb. The best B&B we have stayed in and cannot fault it. Will always highly recommend this B&B and we look forward to our next stay.

Great location, lovely owners, secure for bikes

We had a fantastic stay at this B&B by the river in a lovely small town. The location is perfect, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to everything we needed. The owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful, with great local knowledge – especially for recommending some brilliant roads to ride. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and have a powerful hot shower. Breakfast was really nice each morning, and the secure garage for our motorbikes was a huge bonus. Highly recommended – we’d definitely stay again!

Fabulous accommodation in beautiful area of Wales

Lovely welcome, spotless room, very comfortable bed, nicely decorated, super breakfast, secure parking for my motorcycle, ideal location to explore the Welsh mountains. Lots of local amenities nearby. Touring routes provided. Hosts are very helpful with good local knowledge, and go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable.

Wedding guest over night stay

Beautiful location, host were so pleasant and welcoming and nothing was any trouble from moment we arrived we kneeded some where to stay and was perfect as guest to a wedding party which was literally across the road called Victoria Hall . Breakfast was brilliant ,hot well presented, and very tasty and very organised totally recommend x

Superbly presented facilities, breakfast was extensive and of the highest quality, Denise and Tony were super hosts and very knowledgeable about the area, going out of their way to advise on where to visit. The two road tour instructions were a terrific initiative. One of the best B&B we have stayed at.

The host, Denise, was really helpful and friendly - i arrived a couple of hours early but she let me book in so that i could have a shower and dry out (cycled there) . Breakfast was excellent with a really good choice of options.

A great place to stay.

The b&b was very easy to find and the owners were very, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. The location is very pictoresque and the surrounding areas are wonderful.

The town itself is a little quiet, but perhaps it is not the main reason for staying here. Some people may find the parking a little tight. It was fine for us, but if you have a large (estate) car, it's best to check in advance.

PERFECT stop in mid Wales for exploring Breacon Beacons and wider area.

Amazing. Delightful. From the start to end of our stay, it was exceptional. Breakfast set us up for the day. Motorcycle tucked away, safe and secure in the evening. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Room was beautiful with a view over the river and real milk for coffee in the room.

Great room overlooking river; comfortable bed, great shower and fantastic telly. They have a large garage for storing bicycles and motorbikes, which was very useful when we arrived several hours early, soaking wet, after a rainy cycle ride. The hosts were very welcoming, letting us in early.

Furnishings and property are to a high standard. The hosts are welcoming friendly and very obliging. Tony has a good knowledge of routes to take you around the picturesque Welsh countryside. Breakfast is very good too and enough to set you up for the day. Riverbank is in a lovely peaceful location and the ideal Hotel for motorcyclists offering secure overnight storage. I look forward to returning one day with or without my bike. Highly recommended

An exceptional stay with hosts going the extra mile

Immaculate, modern with original features. Beautifully renovated. Breakfast was wonderful. Hosts looked after us after check out by making us comfortable in the bar area, serving us a complimentary pot of tea and offering us their spare room to get changed for a wedding later that day. Highly recommended for a guaranteed lovely stay.

The room was lovely, the location was great and the staff were extremely friendly

The thing that really let it down for me was the breakfast. I understand that being vegan it can be tricky, but I would have been happy with some alternative milk so that I could have had cereal. I feel some much love and attention has gone into the building itself and the decor, but nit a lot of it goes into the food.

Superb accomodation in a great location.

It was in an amazing location, right on the river. The home was beautiful and very comfortable.

Check-in was till 10pm which is great but as we were on the ground floor it was a bit noisy till about 10.30pm. As everyone had to go past our room. It didn’t spoil our stay though.

Returning visitor. Lovely room. Comfortable bed. Beautiful linen. Excellent shower/bath. Welcome tray. Good central heating if required. Very attractive building. We had a good river view.
