We enjoyed a warm, clean and comfortable visit in a lovely house in a quiet environment.

We arrived to a warm welcome and tea and cake beside a lively log burner. Our room was so comfortable and looked out on the most beautiful rural view. There was a wide selection of beverages we could make in the room and every facility in the en suite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed an excellent night's sleep. The choice at breakfast was impressive and we could choose any combination.

If we had made a list of desirable features before we visited Ardwyn House, they would all have been ticked so there was nothing not to like.

Handsome B&B with very likeable hosts in glorious countryside with loads to see and visit.

Handsome Edwardian house impeccably decorated with warm comfortable bedrooms and fine views across glorious landscape on the edge of the Cambrian mountains. Roger cooked a top breakfast and told some hilarious stories about the history of the house and Llanwyrtd Wells. Loved the library and billiard room where Kate brought us tea and cake. We will go back, no question.

Ardwyn House has been tastefully decorated to its Art Nouveau beginnings, Roger and Kate do more than welcome you they make you feel part of the family, with nothing to much of a problem. The breakfast is a must.

Amazing stay in Llanwrtyd Wells

Loved to stay in Roger's place! We were the only guests so felt really special and you have that warm fuzzy small town feeling when visiting this place. Loved the ducks! The room itself was cosy and comfortable, and the house was very nice with a study and a dining room. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Roger is a very nice host and gave us amazing tips for when we visit next time. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

A really lovely stay

Beautiful period property with lots of original features and lovely furniture. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Excellent breakfast filled us up for the day. The afternoon cake and coffee were just what we needed on arrival. Roger and Katie are wonderful hosts and they both ensured we had a great stay. Lovely quiet location only a short drive to a variety of places to visit. A short walk to nearby shops, pubs and restaurants as well as the local station.

Location of premises was ideal for us. The welcome afternoon coffee with homemade cookies were a real treat and very enjoyable. Breakfast was exceptionally good.

Beautiful cosy house full of interesting pictures , books & information . I loved the ducks , the bath in the room was fantastic . The food was incredible and Roger was the best host ever printing out a map route where my husband could cycle and making a gorgeous cake for us !

Location relatively easy to find and parking was on-site. Breakfast was excellent with a large number of different food types available, including gluten-free cereal. The owner, Roy, was friendly and helpful and asked whether we required help with our luggage. Will definitely be going back there.

Nothing to dislike. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a wide range of toiletries.

The breakfast was great, Roger couldn't do enough. Home made marmalade was lush. Both Kate and Roger was lovely, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet, the bath was perfect. Overall it was an over wonderful overnight stay.

A unique charming stay at Ardwyn House

It was eclectically furnished with lots of interesting pieces. Quite unique. The host were wonderful. Made us a pot of tea and cake on arrival back from a wedding in the evening. Really kind . Breakfast was really tasty including homemade marmalade.

We loved it

We were welcomed by our hosts, Roger and Katie, with delicious home-made cake and cups of tea. Our room and bed were comfortable and clean, with an excellent en suite shower. The house is full of character with an interesting history and the location is peaceful, with lovely views out towards the hills. The atmosphere was very relaxing and breakfast was very good indeed. Good quality in every way.

A house with character.

Perfect host. The interiors of the renovated old house has been tastefully done - giving the house a character. Our lovely room faced the fields with grazing sheep. Walking distance from village centre and train station. Welsh scones smilingly provided on request.

Ardwyn located in a lovely quiet little town, ample on site parking for guests. Received the most wonderful welcome from Roger and Katie, fresh coffee and freshly baked brownies. The house was decorated immaculately and it had a wonderful homely feel to it. Room was spacious and sparkling clean with a well appointed en suite. Breakfast was faultless.
