The stay at Batoni Guest House was such a highlight of my trip in Georgia. Very well situated (a close, short 2-3 min walk from the old town center) but in a residential, lakeside area, the house is beautiful, the room was spacious with a balcony at disposal. The hosts were also amazing and super helpful !! Can definitely recommend .

Wonderful hostess who made us feel welcome. She reserved a parking space for us so we didn't have to scramble for a parking lot. We had the whole of the top floor including the kitchen and terrace for ourselves as there weren't other guests staying at the same time. Big terrace with a great view of the river and Jvari Monastery. House is well located in the old town, a few minutes walk from the cathedral.
Steep spiral staircase to the top floor so it's tricky if you have bulky luggage or mobility issues. Our bathroom was quite tight and the floor would get wet after a shower. Curtains were a little short so you'd be woken up if you're sensitive to light.
