Guest House IBERIA

The family running IBERIA were friendly, respectful and helpful to me. I enjoyed the view from wide balcony, location right in front of the Cathedral. Room was warm and the electric, lights and hot water supply was not constantly shut down at all. You will be happy you chose IBERIA for your stay in Mtskheta.

Stairs.

As noted in other reviews, the two biggest pros of this place are the location and the friendly welcoming host. The inner yard is nice and green with grape wines growing over it.

There were a couple of things I was not a fan of: 1) The guest rooms are located on the third floor of the building without an elevator. We had to carry heavy suitcases up three flights of stairs. 2) The internet and TV did not work upon our arrival. The host's family member told us that the Internet is generally bad in Mtskheta, issues often happen, and that a repair man will come later that day to fix it. Then an hour or so later, we met the main host, and he heard nothing of that and immediately fixed the connection by replugging the main router. Weird. 3) The mattress and bedding were quite old and uncomfortable. There was no fitted sheet, and the flat sheet on the bed kept sliding off revealing the old mattress. 4) The toilet lid was missing. 5) The sink got clogged and stopped working.

The location was amazing right in front of the cathedral .The host was vey nice and gaves us great tips. Good value for money

Everything was o.k

Amazing location, across the road from the Mskheta Cathedral. Beautiful view from the back balcony. Very welcoming hosts. Good AC. Great value for money.

The mattresses on the bed were a bit old, some had hard springs sticking out. Either new mattresses or a thick mattress topper would be good. We flipped ours and slept fine after that. There was some mould in bathroom to deal with. The bowls and cutlery were limited.
