    A great stay for a great price

    Room was comfortable and clean, all staff I interacted with were pleasant and helpful. The rooftop restaurant and pool were fun, and the street level restaurant was amazing - I would have gone out of my way to eat there. The fitness center was a plus with a variety of equipment including Peloton bikes,treadmills, ergs, weights and weight machine with complimebtary water and protein bars.

    We recently stayed at the Downtown Proper and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. We also enjoyed the food! I am not used to having hotel food and drinks be that great, but we really thought everything we ate and drank was delicious. Our queen room was small…. However, we were still very comfortable. Next time I will pay extra to upgrade to a king. Also, the pool is lovely, but much smaller than it appears on the online pictures. There aren’t a lot of loungers either and so during busy times, it can be difficult to find a place to relax. We would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.
