Lorna at front desk was amazing and the robot massage was excellent - really positioning the Hoxton at the forefront of innovative services

The vibe and decor were above average.

The room was much much smaller than expected. Photos are nice but not at all indicative of my expectation when I opened the door to the room.

The lobby lounge is excellent for a quick meeting or coffee or getting some work done. Clean and spacious room and bathroom area.

The room lacked a smart TV — no Netflix, YouTube, or streaming, which feels outdated in 2025. • The QR ordering system (promoted in-room and poolside) simply did not work. One evening we spent 15 minutes trying to order before cut-off, only for it to fail. Another time, we waited over an hour for food poolside, only to find the order never went through. • Reception calls went unanswered, and when I finally spoke to staff, I was told dismissively to come down from the 7th floor myself to place an order. • The Booking.com photos showed sun loungers by the pool — in reality, there were none, only benches and chairs. Very misleading. • Parking was $60 per night, yet there’s independent parking right next door for $25 — feels like a deliberate attempt to overcharge. • Food menu was extremely limited and underwhelming for a hotel of this standard. On top of this, I later found unauthorised charges on my credit card linked to the hotel. Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Poor service, misleading advertising, technical failures, and hidden costs left a negative impression of both the hotel and the Hoxton brand. I cannot recommend this property.
