Fantastic stay for a special occasion

We rented the villa for my birthday evening and it was fantastic. More than 15 people joined during the night and 7 of us stayed over comfortably. The location is great and the place itself is beautiful. I really loved how open the villa feels while still being very comfortable and welcoming. The large garden and the real swimming pool made a big difference, and the layout of the kitchen and living room created a great vibe for spending time together. All amenities, cutlery, and equipment were good quality and in very good condition. The bedrooms and showers were comfortable, clean, and well designed. Overall, it was the perfect place to celebrate and spend time with friends. I would definitely recommend it.

Horrific

The villa was very dirty and had rats and lots of ants everywhere in the kitchen, bedrooms bathrooms. The rain went everywhere in the kitchen and there was a lot of mosquito.

We loved the Villa, its location so close to the beach. It's beautifully set out and works well for large groups. Staff are amazing! So helpful!

A beautiful, peaceful & relaxing place to unwind.

Value for money. The home was very spacious and private with a generous outdoor compound. Manager in charge was very responsive. Seamless & flexible check in & out.

Not accessible to amenities. Luckily there was Grab service. They also prepared a very comprehensive book providing a list of in-house chef, massage & spa treatment, tour guide, transportation services, places to go etc. all available, just a call away.

Beautiful huge private villa in a quieter area of Canggu but close enough to walk to some restaurants/bars or short

Villa Matahari looked exactly like it did in the pictures, such a stunning villa. I loved the layout of the villa with the bedrooms (apart from 1) away from the main living areas. The pool area & garden is absolutely beautiful and so much space. The villa staff were so lovely & excellent communication if we ever needed anything :) Go to Lyma Beach which is a one minute walk from the Villa to an awesome beach bar, that became a regular for us.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like, I agree with one review about the mold smell in the 2 bottom bedrooms but it wasn’t to strong for me and with the aircon on it helped.

Amazing place for a large group of people who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The Villa staff are responsive, attentive, accomodating and super friendly.

Aircon only in the rooms and the weather can be quite unforgiving. There are 2 huge geckos behind the wall feature at the stairs landing which the kids were afraid of. Callout to folks who are scared of geckos!

A memorable stay we won't forget.

Everything was amazing. Service was flawless, villa was beautiful and the location just outside Canggu city center so it was more quiet and peaceful. 2 min walk from a delicious restaurant on a beach. Very easy to navigate with motorcycles.

Some wasps but generally very harmless. There is a room in its own hut in the garden which is beautiful but be careful to close doors to avoid wasps.

This property is exactly as pictured. Very relaxing villa and location

This property was gorgeous. Away from the busy hustle, just a short gojek into Canggu. Security guards the gate of a night time. The beds were incredibly comfortable and soft pillows are a plus. Breakfast and spa options to come to you. We were visted by mud crabs and frogs in our outdoor showers, very cute.

Wonderful staycation

The villa is a great space for a group of friends or family who just want to chill l, not do much sight seeing and just relax. The place if affordable, the staff are super friendly and the place is kept well. All in all everyone was happy and we will definetly come back

The room by the pool side had a open air bathroom which was not very conducive in the rain. The bathroom was wet with rain water.. a suggestion would be to extend the roof a bit more. Also the living room and kitchen area should have ceiling fans. The standing fans dont really help to cut the heat that much.

The location isn’t great if you like to explore it’s secluded if you want to go anywhere and hot water was not working we asked but it was never fixed the mattress is quite thin and the beds are noisy they squeak n crack all night and we didn’t see any staff at all till checkout there was security he arrived late evening but didn’t understand when we asked if he could contact anyone to fix hot water

Un séjour incroyable

C'est notre deuxième séjour dans cette villa. Alors oui, elle a un certain prix mais quel bonheur d'y séjourner. L'endroit est superbe, conforme aux photos. La piscine fait rêver, les 5 chambres sont belles et spacieuses, les espaces de vie tout à fait adapté à un grand groupe. Le personnel est charmant, aux petits soins, et très discret. La villa est au calme mais proche de la plage, des lieux de surfs et des restaurants/ cafés. Que dire de plus?

Maison sublime mais il faut aimer les visiteurs surprise.

La villa est très belle et bien entretenue, le petit déjeuner préparé par le personnel de maison est très bon et ces derniers sont adorables.

Il faut noter qu’une chambre est non attenante au reste de la maison et que celle ci possède une salle de bain à ciel ouvert. La maison est située juste à côté d’un petit ruisseau et le fond du jardin est sujet aux inondations. Nous avons eu la mauvaise expérience de nous trouver nez à nez avec un serpent venimeux et un rat est également entré dans la deuxième salle de bain à ciel ouvert. Le manager de la maison nous a envoyé quelqu’un mais difficile d’attraper un serpent… nous n’avons pas voulu que nos enfants dorment seuls dans cette chambre. Deuxième bémol, les travaux qui commençaient à 8h du matin dans la villa d’à côté.
