Beautiful room, perfect location and parking

This is a cleverly renovated historic house. Our large, airy room was at the very top with a beautiful view of Piazza Gesu. We were set right in the middle of the historic quarter. There were a few guesthouses in the area, but this one had private, gated parking in a large garden with a view. We loved the garden. The hosts were gracious and very responsive. We ate at a restaurant a five-minute walk away that was filled with Italian families. We wish that we had stayed longer. One night is not enough to absorb Viterbo.

People should be aware that two of the rooms are at the top of two long flights of stairs. It was a bit of a struggle with the luggage, but people offered to help. For us the climb was absolutely worth it for our large, beautiful room and its view of the Piazza Gesu, but if you are concerned about lots of stairs, select one of the other rooms.

Fantastic but not long enough

The property was just beautiful. The decor the same and a little quirky but it works so well. The Continental Breakfast was lovely and the staff so friendly and helpful.

The roads in are very narrow so you need to take it slowly.

Amazing building of another era, great staff, very good breakfast especially if you like sweet breakfast. Comfortable room, beautiful bathroom. Ideally located in the heart of Viterbo. Marianna welcomed us and was the perfect host.

Stunning, central and exudes history! So beautifully curated with immaculate decor and ran by a generous and attentive family. Opening directly onto Piazza Dai Gesu this beautiful guest house allows you feel like you live like a local!

What a find!

From the moment we found this special place set 'far from.the madding crowd', we felt at peace. A fabulous spot to unwind and enjoy the town without all the crowds. The interior is lovingly restored and beautifully decorated. We loved every minute here. The owner was so hospitable and friendly. It is also close to all the major sites.

Arrange transport if coming by train as there are no taxis outside the train station. However, it is within walking distance of the train station with light luggage.

Old World Elegance - Highly Recommended

The property is beautiful and perfectly located. My room was very comfortable and included everything I could possibly need. Breakfast each morning was served by candlelight with classical music and we enjoyed just baked, warm croissants filled with jam, fresh fruit, all kinds of cereal, yogurt and more with giant cups of cappuccino. This is the house the owner grew up in and he shared an incredible history with us. He is an architect and like his father has an important role in the town.

Breakfast was a bit caotic but quality was good. Overall truly recommend the place. You can come with your car to the place even if it is within the limited trafic zone; the place will register your car for it. Anything bigger than a BMW X3 would not fit in the narrow streets.

Viterbo is a Hidden Gem!

The location was great. A very walkable city. Manuela and Valaria were so friendly and helpful. They are a big reason to stay here! Parking was great although a little tough to get too. There are plenty of restaurants and shops as well as beautiful churches nearby.

The breakfast could use a savory item or two. There were a lot of cookies to choose from. The common area furniture really needs to be cleaned.

A wonderful guesthouse in the heart of medieval Viterbo.

The guesthouse is ideally situated in the historical centre of Viterbo, there is plenty to explore and there are lots of bars and restaurants all within an easy walking distance. It is a beautiful house and the owners and staff were really friendly and accommodating. We had a beautiful room and a wonderful breakfast in the dining room each morning. It was also an excellent base for visiting Bomarzo and Villa Lante. Absolutely recommend.

Unfortunately we were unable to use the bath as the plug leaked.

The private room was in a beautiful and elegant palazzo. The owner is a renowned architect and the design of the rooms reflects this. The owners personally served us a wonderful breakfast. Our room had a large balcony that easily accommodated six people. Very comfortable room with many unexpected features. Very good location in the old town.

The place is stunning. Our room was beautiful and the whole building was amazing. There is also a lovely garden to relax in after a day of sightseeing. Very quiet and peaceful in a busy town. The proprietors were very fun and helpful, providing insight and advice about Viterbo. I can't recommend this place enough.

Grande charme in posizione perfetta, silenzio, stanza spaziosa e bellissima, letto molto comodo.

Sinceramente è un peccato che l’architetto, per il resto bravissimo, abbia piazzato dei led su ogni interruttore come se un ospite avesse paura del buio… stanza illuminata a giorno e faretti ad altezza occhi intorno al letto: se fosse possibile, disattiverei.
