Great place to gather family and friends and very well stocked with evertything you need to have a great beach vacation: beach towels, chairs, coolers, bait freezer, ice maker, extra drink fridge, fishing nets, poles, kayaks, etc. The kitchen was also really well stocked with all the pots and pans necessary even to prepare a large Thanksgiving meal. You do need to provide your own salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil, etc. as all food/pantry items are removed after cleaning, probably to avoid attracting pests. You also need to provide your own shampoo, body soap etc. but there was plenty of hot water and towels. The place is very centrally located in Marathon, and just one block off Hwy. 1 so there was some road noise when we sat outside on the porch but we didn't hear it at all inside the unit. We saw a manatee off the dock, took the kayaks out for a sunset paddle, and rode the bikes the two miles to Sombrero Beach. We would definitely stay again next time we are in the Keys!

Danielle is an amazing host! All the amenities were awesome! Kayaks paddle boards beach chairs cornhole boards. Super fun!

Our stay was great, extremely comfortable with lots of amenities. A glitch that was handled well, Danielle is an outstanding host. We docked our pontoon boat right by the pool, fish from the dock. couldn’t have been better. Even more space than the photos show, though we were happy to be the only ones there.Everyone saw the manatees but me! Should we return, we wouldn’t look anywhere else.

Overall the property was very well maintained. The property has new appliances and was very clean. You can definitely tell the owner has customer service in mind.
The property is listed as a duplex. Please take into consideration that the property owners along with their two children and dog stayed on site for 5 of the 7 days we rented the property. The property owner is very nice and friendly but there is little privacy.
The boat dock is listed as 75 ft but a boat lift takes up a lot of the space and only leaves about 50Ft or less of usable space. The other renters had a 21 ft boat and we had a 27 ft. We barely fit. My boat was 5 ft off the front of the dock and the other renters were constantly worried about our boats hitting.
Also the neighbors dog was terrible. Barking all night 10pm-5am for multiple nights in a row.
This property is located at the end of a long 30 minute no wake zone. There is no quick access to the ocean or the gulf.
If you plan to fish and bring your own bait please be aware that there is ONE bait freezer for the three properties, so if you show up last, you will not have a spot for bait. There is a supplemental freezer over a community refrigerator but we ultimately had to buy bait daily because there was no other freezer.
Again, overall nice place and had an above ground pool. The property was well stocked with a keurig and pods spices ect. Overall I would not rent again due to the long no wake zone, the duplex property and the owner on site the majority of the time.
