A practical solution for a more affordable stay in St Gallen, it is a five walk to the train station - and then it's literally three minutes of train to the town centre. The room was tiny and essential, but did the job. Very clean, easy access to an underground car park.

The hotel is a bit out of the way and the vending machine is very expensive so recommend getting your water and snacks at the Migros or supermarkets in town. The bathroom was spotless in terms of cleaning but the furniture was very squicky!

I liked the hotel in general. It is definitely a budget hotel, so you shouldn't have high expectations. Although it is a 3 star hotel, I liked the breakfast and the area. At the breakfast they had gluten-free bread for request and a good coffee. The eggs didn't taste good but they had gluten-free cornflakes which is amazing if you can only eat gluten-free options. I liked the breakfast options in general. The Migros and its restaurant is close to the hotel so you can buy anything for yourself in less then 15 minutes.

The hotel is a little bit far from the main train station but you can take the bus and it will take you there in a few minutes. The staff left me with mixed feelings. Some of them were nice and helpful but there was a short blonde lady with a rude tone at the reception who refused to help me when I needed help the most. I was making a new booking on booking.com when an error happened and the room was not available anymore but I was charged already. So I booked another 1 night at this BB hotel to solve my situation temporarily. I called booking.com helpdesk but the guy I talked to about my refund misunderstood which booking I meant and they sent me an email after the call about cancelling my BB Hotel stay which was false. So I asked the receptionist to please wait for the end of the story because I am in a big mess already and it is a long story. She refused to listen and cut me off in the middle of the story and she said she didn't have time for this and asked me:"what do you need, what do you need?" I said I need her to please listen to the story so she would know what to check in the system. She kept on saying:"She doesn't have time for this because her boss is going to be angry and she has work to finish until 10 and she won't be able to finish as she is alone for 300 people and the system will shut down at 10..."She also added: "Welcome to a 3 star hotel, where nobody cares! This is not a 4 star hotel where they kiss your ass and jump if you need anything" (2 swiss men were witnessing this conversation). She was making comments in swiss language to them about me while I was standing there desperate for some help while being 5 months pregnant. She absolutely lacked empathy, patience and she is not a fit for the hospitality industry. After she talked to me like this without any respect I asked her:"Why do you have to talk to me in this f...ing rude way?

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The hotel was very clean. Overall good experience.

Very clean cozy and the room had windows all around.

The bed quality was perfect, air condition, tv and WIFI worked smoothly. Due to the absence of any room services and door lock with numeric code, the check-out is very fast :) - practically does not exist.

The comfort and equipment of the room is so basic, that even for two person there is only one chair, one paper jar and a single bed sheet. The breakfast is quite overpriced, a similar choice is available nearby for half price. It is difficult to understand why the wi-fi access is limited to three devices per room...?

Nice room Under 5 minutes to train station, bus stops and supermarket - buses 9,6 and 11. Very spacious shower and I loved it Very clean on arrival though check in very slow as they couldn't find our booking A little issue we had was resolved very quickly

You have to ask for the free public transport card from Reception, they should provide automatically and then there were issues with the internet so we couldn't get it on the first day, on arrival, they didn't send it to us properly Lift a little slow Our room wasn't cleaned on one day but we were able to get towels from reception with no problems Wasn't informed of emergency contact overnight as no phone in room or reception overnight Tea/coffee facilities not in room but a coffee machine in reception at a reasonable price Not really any restaurants in the area - a nice (but expensive Chinese around the corner, a pizza delivery up the road, also expensive, discovered a very nice Italian restaurant on the main road with good prices on the bus route next to Migros)

I like everything about the hotel.

Good hotel for a stay in St. Gallen, near a bus stop connected to the main station. New and wide rooms, comfortable bathroom (expecially the shower), satisfactory breakfast.

The location was a little bit noisy. After 11 pm all lights were switched off in the hall, also near the vending machines, creating problems to people that wanted to buy something.

the staff behaviour was impolite.

Breakfast is good, rooms are clean.

Maybe slippers in the rooms were a good idea.
