Cozy and comfortable place

the room was spacious and comfortable with a desk and coffee table with armchairs. It's 10 minuits away from downtown on foot and you have a bus stop in front of the hotel. Very convenient

Christian, the owner, was very welcoming. The hotel is well situated with good bus connections to the town centre. Clean, bright and spacious room. Delicious breakfast.

On busy main road with noisy traffic. Air-conditioning would be a plus.

My wife was in the nearby hospital after a bicycle accident and the hotel manager was so helpful & friendly and provided a great room with option to extend for as long as needed.

The location was great. Well suited for families. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room and facilities are good.

We were given a street-facing room. Even after closing all the windows, we can still hear the noise in the night. The breakfast has a limited selection.

A very comfortable, welcoming boutique hotel near to the historic centre which is perfect for a short stay. (Swiss hote

Secure parking in a fairly central part of St Gallen and a very helpful receptionist helped us settle easily into our very comfortable room., We appreciated the lift and again the receptionist offered to carry bags. The room was well equipped with everything as was the bathroom. Thé receptionist told us of two nearby restaurants which would be open that Bank Holiday Monday, which was very helpful as it was raining. In the event we found we were in reasonable distance of the very pleasant AltStadt. We enjoyed a very pleasant breakfast and enjoyed an interesting conversation with the same courteous receptionist and some other guests.

Although we were in the quiet back section of the hotel, one of us was kept awake by the constant noise of metal barriers being dismantled during the course of the early hours. Apparently such night time working is not allowed in Switzerland but it had been a Bank Holiday event. the one of us who is deaf did not suffer this interruption.

Great place to stay in St Gallen

The hotel is located right next to the Olma Messen bus stops which have direct connections every 5 minutes during weekdays to St Gallen Bahnhof. It's also close to the Kantonsspital ( Cantonal Hospital ) , the largest hospital in the St Gallen Canton. The old town is easily reachable on foot.

Central Point for travelling around the Allgäuer region.

Location, facilities are superb, the attention and support of the staff, always kind and available to provide information for the trip. Location is perfect for travelling from St. Gallen to either Säntis or Liechtenstein on a one day trip, ask the hotel if your reservation is eligible for the promotional tourist card for the Allgäuer region so you can get discounts on transportation and attractions. The rooms have a nice retro ambience vibe with moss green color furniture, with night desks integrated in the beds, radio, frigo bar with local beers, and provide a nice view from the balcony.

Like many European hotels in the hottest months of summer you can struggle a bit with AC but they provide a portable ventilator which will be enough.
