Very close to town centre great place well equipped and clean. We ate at the local Italian restaurant fabulous food and good price .lovely walk along the river great weekend break.

Lovely, comfy space, very quiet location yet almost in the town centre. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. There was both a bath and a shower, the former being something we really appreciate as we don't have one at home. Communication from the agents was excellent and very helpful.
We come up to the area once or twice a year to see friends and we love Barnard Castle (Barney to the locals). It is small and friendly with quite a lot to see locally and some lovely walks. This let is perfectly located for us

The road where the cottage is located is very narrow and not all the neighbours parked well.
There is only 1 toilet and it is in the bathroom. Not an issue for the 2 of us but we'd like to bring another couple with us and then it could be
