Pippos Mountain Lodge

Tolle Lage und sehr ruhig gelegen. Schöner Wellnessbereich mit Sauna und Pool im Freien. Auch das Abendessen war wie fast überall in Südtirol sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne einmal wieder.

Struttura nuovissima con camere spaziose e dotate di ogni confort. Colazione predisposta ed equilibrata. Abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante ed i piatti erano tutti buonissimi ( vegetariani ). La posizione è ottima e ti consente di arrivarci a piedi dopo un percorso di 10 minuti dalla funivia di Soprabolzano con alcune discese o salite, quindi consiglio bagagli leggeri.

Pippo’s Lodge is located in the beautiful mountainous area of Soprabolzano. The view from the room was amazing, we loved watching the sunrise in the morning. We ate both dinner and breakfast there, and both were exceptional. The cable car from the town to the city wasn’t working, so we drove to the city, which took about 30 minutes. Highly recommended for a stay in Soprabolzano.

The location has stunning views on the Dolomites. The interior design is new and well thought of. The room size was great.

We were deceived by the services provided. Arriving in the evening after a long day, we were expecting the restaurant or at least the bar to be opened. Apparently both F&B facilities are closed on Mondays - a fact that should have been communicated more explicitely. The spa was meant to be open from 8am to 8pm. However when going there at 11am, the sauna was cold. After letting the receptionist know, we were informed that the sauna was only switched on at 2pm. So basically the wellness offer for the morning was an outside swimming pool that still had a lid on when coming to the spa and showers without shower gel or body lotion. A very poor service given the price we paid for the overnight stay.
